Visited here with some friends for a post lockdown evening out. The staff were very friendly and attentive the entire evening. They seem to genuinely care about each and every customer. The restraunt itself was very cosy and welcoming. The food certainly did not disappoint either. We each had our 2 courses and couldn't fault them one bit. My only criticism of our evening was very long wait times between courses. We had initially planned to have desserts after our main courses but simply ran out of time. I will say however, that the staff were very apologetic about the wait, explaining that the kitchen had fallen behind. They comped our drinks and gave us some free sides without us even having mentioned the wait which was a nice gesture on their behalf. I will certainly be back in the future and would recommend to friends and family!

We had a family wedding here, from the perspective of a guest, I was delighted with the experience. The food was lovely. Black pudding and poached egg starter: the black pudding had a wonderful sweetness to it, my egg was a little under cooked. Never stopped me clearing the course (🤭) Steak, triple cooked fries and pepper sauce, main. The steak had a wonderful char grill finish and was cooked as I had requested, it was really nice slice of beef. The pepper sauce was spectacular. The guest next to me, stole my chips to dip in my pepper sauce (cheeky!) Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream with a fresh raspberry garnish dessert: simply delicious. The waiting staff were polite, courteous, attentive and very friendly, whilst keeping the proseco flowing. The event moved like clockwork, even with some last minute changes in seating plan by the wedding party. Well done!! I'm sure the bride and groom will be as delighted as I was. I would highly recommend this venue for an intimate wedding dinner ( I imagine there were around 30 of us.) Thank you

Our family went tonite for Mother's Day and it was the first time we had been although we had wanted to go for a long time and let me say it was a lovely evening had by all of us...the staff were great and so good at what they do,by far one of my favourite restaurants now...loved it...top rating from us 😃
