We went to this pub as a group of six for lunch. There is dedicated parking with plenty of space. There is also outdoor dining area with a small play area. The spread on the menu was one of the best I've come across. We ordered a good mix of different cuisine, all of which were excellent. The portions were generous and taste yummy. The staff were friendly and the service excellent. We would love to go there again...

Lovely visit. We came in for some lunch with my granddaughter and she loved it as always. It’s great to take her out to somewhere we know she asks for and we also enjoy. Food is always great and Jamie always makes us feel welcome.

Very noisy on entering. Directed to a booth our family meal. Exactly what was required. Friendly professional staff took our orders. Drinks all correct Starters served first. All correct. Then our main courses. All correct. Overall a good visit although being busy was quite noisy.

Lovely dinner! The new menu was fantastic and service from Lara and Jemma in particular was excellent. Bar staff were also incredibly friendly. Alexander particularly stuck out, a very happy character. Will definitely be back!

A great local bar & restaurant. Food is typical pub menu with a good choice of food and offers. Can’t fault quality and is great value for money and nicely presented. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All a credit to the manager Jamie. Alex was our server this week and 10/10 for his customer service and big smile, nothing was too much bother 😊

Cheep and very cheerful. We stopped by for a bite with our kids and we were amazed to see the gees the family for £15 is back. We got 2 fish and chips 2 kids meals, drinks and desserts for the kids for £15. Mental!!! The staff were all super cheery it made a random stop in something special.

Ive been going for a while everything has been lovely but last night was a different story soup was tasteless i ordered a steak i couldn't even cut it it was full of fat then i went to the bar for a glass of wine and they had no wine glasses it wasn't even that busy so had to use a dirty one the scampi was supposed to be a large portion well if that was a large portion someone needs there specks.

I dont usually do reviews but after going to the Kittoch for 2 weeks in a row, i felt it was time to say something! Just like to say that Service and Staff in general, were all 1st Class!
The issue is the food, i got the Balmoral Chicken on week 1, the Chicken was that dry, i felt it had been sitting on a hot plate for hours? Half of it i couldnt even cut tbh!
This week i tried the All Day Breakfast!
The Beans & Mushrooms were cold, the Bacon was far too fatty! The Black Pudding was the cheapest tasting one ive ever had! And as the egg was burst, then cooked, it just looked like everthing had been dumped on the plate?? ive honestly had better at a roadside van!
Probably wont be back!

Warm and cozy bistro for families and pretty much any age. The staff is really friendly and they'll do anything they can every time to let me feel home. There's a great variety of food (even vegetarian), drinks and always great music during weekends! Lovely

1st and last time was yesterday. Kids 'Hotdog' is just the (plain) sausages they have left over from breakfast. Tikka Masala, while it wasn't stone cold, it certainly wasn't hot. Cheeseburger was enjoyed by the oldest child so a plus for that. The sharing platter was disappointing too. Overall 4 out of 5 were disappointed with the food so with plenty of choices elsewhere we won't be going back.

We were there last night and had the pensioners meals which were delicious. Service very good and our server noticed the sun was shining in my husbands eyes and closed over the curtain. Portion sizes were very good. Will be back.

Won the Father's Day competition so came for a late lunch.. Food was lovely, only thing I wouldn't recommend on the menu is the macaroni cheese! But apart from that everything was good 😊

When food arrived it wasn't very warm. Asked for fresh chips as they looked like reheats ... they arrived about 20 minutes later when the rest of dinner was finished ..never took our dirty plates away and wee had to ask for kids puddings cause they were fed up waiting ..poor service still hadn't cleared table .. won't be back

Well run, efficient and family friendly place to eat. Cannot fault this little gem. Hats off to all the cream here as customer care is top for this team . Led by an energetic manageress who you can tell leads by example , the whole team should be commended as we are used to accepting mediocre service. That is not here , value for money , excellent menu choice. Can't ask for anything else. WELL DONE "the Ittoch", we will be back!

Went tonight for dinner with 2 kids. Won't be back. Went thinking as it's a Hungry Horse it would be the same as the Oyster Catcher, boy was I wrong! Waited ages for our starter although one of the other starters was served 20 mins previous. No lettuce on cheeseburger, burger was tough. Definitely would not recommend it.

Me, my wife and kids wer here last night I got the haddock and chips with mushy peas kids ordered their usuall burgers and pizzas my wife got macaroni n cheese but she sent it bak and she never sends food bak as the macaroni n cheese was so bland no taste of cheese at all on so she got a plain cheese burger in place of the macaroni n cheese and said it was lovely but she really would have loved the macaroni

Enjoyed our lunch here with friends yesterday. Ordered the Elvis burger to try, thought it came with streaky bacon and coleslaw. To busy catching up with friends at the time or I would have asked the waitress. Service is was slower than normal, went up to try and order desserts. Disappointing the long wait while all the guys sitting/standing around the bar kept getting served drinks while the diners were kept waiting.

We have been going to the kittoch since it opened and unfortunately won't be going back. Tonight's food I can only describe as poor, and that's me being kind. Since I live locally I would like to see this place improve and be a success but tonight's experience has put me off!

Getting served at counter can take a while. Stood for 15 minutes last night before being served. Guys that stand in corner of bar seem to get priority service. Food is good and price is excellent.

We went to the kittoch 2 weeks ago and the food was so bad we sent it back twice and eventually just got a refund! Thought we would give it another go last night and was the biggest mistake we made! Five meals all absolutely disgusting! Steaks were all ordered to be medium - 3 were like rubber and one was still raw! Chips were cold, mushrooms and onion rings were soggy! Will never be back!

Must be typical of the Hungry Horse chain we were there with a voucher we received after we had a terrible experience at their Tail of the Bank restaurant in Greenock today's experience was better service ways but the pattern of cold food also extended to the Kittoch personally I wouldn't go back to either of them

This is usually our go to but today was dreadful, sat in seating area next to the kids play area as we had a child with us. First of all we ordered alcoholic drinks and instead of the bar manager coming to see ID she asked all six of us to come inside until we insisted that she came out then she agreed. After this incident we asked someone if they could come take our order and got told they don’t do outside table service and gave us a pen and paper to go up with our own order.. to top it all off in one of our double cheese burger there was a pube looking hair that put me off my full meal!!! It was DISGUSTING !! �� they gave money back for that 1 burger but the entire time here was a disgrace.

Took my daughter for birthday meal and was really disappointed and rather angry didn't report to staff as didn't wish to spoil my daughter's evening had ordered chicken new Yorker and the only edible part was the chicken fatty bacon cold chips & peas then ordered coffee which had to be replaced it was that weak bartender said there were issues with the coffee made me fresh one with extra shot which was more drinkable had spent over £45 but will not be back in retrospect should have asked for my money to be refunded
