The staff were absolutely brilliant - extremely professional / friendly / helpful and attentive. The food is exceptional and always fresh! The truffle parmesan fries are a must have! The only thing that might have been nice was a bit of cream to g with the summer pudding. The atmosphere is great a
We had a delicious Sunday roast in the glorious autumn sunshine. Service was impeccable and food was spot on. The beef was cooked nice and pink and the pork was juicy. The sticky toffee pudding was a great choice to round off the meal. Highly recommend
Really excellent food, service and atmosphere - and not at all stuffy (even with the evidence that they're mid-renovation). A couple of our party were coeliac and were pleasantly surprised at how well they were catered for. The meat eaters and vegetarians among us were all very happy as well. Would
Set back from the abhorrently busy road, two lanes in each direction almost always at a standstill, there is a sense of calm once you've reached the pub. We've been coming here for a while and it's always been a solid stop. A decent selection of ales from near and far, you don't even clock the keg
Such a lovely, relaxing visit after the crowds of Hampton Court Palace. I sat outside, but the inside was beautiful as well! Excellent food and service, exactly what I was looking for, just before getting back on the train. I especially appreciated the tasty vegan options available! Highly recommend
What an amazing little venue. A gastro pub in Hampton Court. Excellent food. Great beverages. Sensational fit out. Indoor and outdoor tables. They may be under staffed at times but it's worth a visit.
Came here for dinner after visiting Hampton Court Palace. Food was above average but in general a tad bit salty. Service is good but food waiting time was long
Arrival: 6 pm Seating: plenty inside plus upstairs and outdoor as well. We sat upstairs Alcohols: plenty of options to choose Foods: we got a cheese plate, Black garlic chicken breast, lamb pot pie . Delicious and flavorful. Chicken was very tender and juicy Service: very good. Atmosphere: friendly
We loved it! We’re really disappointed not to get to the Brassiere next door but this was a blessing. The food was restaurant quality not pub grub. The menu has lots of variety (it was a Sunday and I can’t stand a Roast). We were so happy with our food - I emptied my plate. Evidence below. Love it -
The Mute Swan is a beautiful pub and restaurant! It is two stories tall with lots of seating inside and out. We stopped in for a few drinks after visiting Hampton Court Palace. It is located directly across the street from the Palace. We saw mostly locals enjoying this establishment. It is not a tou
Nice pub with good food! The red pepper hummus was delicious as were the padron peppers (although some were more roasted than others). For mains had a fish & chips and a beef bourguignon. Would recommend either. Spent around £23pp for food only.
I come here on the regs for a few drinks if in the Hampton Court area. They have some nice random brews when available such as Lowenbrau and Leffe. They also have had Pomelo of late, which is from the Twickenham beers stable. The prices aren’t too bad for the area either and staff are always friend
Excellent little pub with bags of charm, relaxed seating downstairs with more formal (but not snooty and still relaxed) dining upstairs. The food was full of flavour, well seasoned and felt that little bit special for a really reasonable price. Excellent friendly and attentive service.
It will not disappoint you. Very hungry after visit Tulip festival in Hampton Court Palace. This bar and restaurant just on the opposite street from the Palace entrance, think it may be so so ( based on travelling experience in the tourist area). It’s totally wrong! The staffs are very friendly, foo
A local favorite (according to the a Hampton Court staff member)Pub with a vast selection of British beer and well prepared, tasty food. Relaxed and very friendly atmosphere. Several cozy corner tables. This Pub is across the street from Hampton Court. After a long misty day touring the Palace this
I've been here 4 times, 3 of them in the last year. The Sunday roast is amazing with large portion sizes. The chicken dish the 2nd time had lots of different flavours and was done perfectly. The lamb on the 3rd time wasn't as great as I had hoped but still good nonetheless. Friendly staff, good at
Very good service with very friendly staff: we stopped by for lunch after visiting Hampton Court. I had the beet root burger and my husband had the chicken leek pie. Both were very good. We topped it off with a mini sticky toffee pudding (with ice cream) which was very tasty. Definitely worth a vis
