It was lovely and we arrived early at around midday when it was empty. The 3 staff members waiting on us had a lovely manner. Food was great, service was fast, the views to the sea , beach and promenade breathtaking... and as we sat inside the enormous windows, we stayed off the wind! Zarah made me a special Mexican cocktail called michelada, yummy! 😋 And as I promised her I would leave a good comment, here it is! 😊

Had a couple of amazing vegetarian starters/sides and a lovely Aperol spritz. There were lots of options especially for fish eaters, the menu is creative and tasty. The place has been renovated recently and is in the best seafront location, indoor and outdoor seating.

The Seahorse team are lovely and make every visit special. We had our wedding reception upstairs surrounded by a glorious July sunset. We were able to bring out own flowers and table settings which they laid out beautifully and the food was amazing. So mush so friends ate still talking about it. They invited us back for a free dinner which was every bit as special. Again amazing food and a lovely welcome from the team. Can't recommend it enough.

We had a fabulous late lunch/early dinner at The Seahorse on Saturday to celebrate mine and a friend's 'BIG' birthday before going to see Michael MacIntyre at The Brighton Centre! The staff were super friendly and accommodating, the food was absolutely delicious for all of us (fish, steak, good veggie options and sides) and the drinks flowed! It was a perfect celebration for a special occasion, but not stuffy or formal....plus we weren't rushed! Despite the wet and windy day...the view was wild & spectacular overlooking the sea from every table! We will definitely be back as it was exactly what we wanted for our girls afternoon! Thank you to all the team for making it so special...I'd highly recommend going!

An absolute joy to visit and the most perfect location. We enjoyed beautiful views of a stormy sea and had some of the most delicious food I've ever had in Brighton. The Team were absolutely lovely and made me feel very welcome. Really great to see what they've done with the venue and I can't wait to go again!

All good - food, service, layout, value. A spacious restaurant on two floors by the beach that's run well, it's clean and tidy, upstairs smart, downstairs casual and accepts dogs, I'd give a bonus star for that if I could. The staff were polite, friendly and competent. The coffee was perfect, hot with great flavour. We ordered fish and chips - served hot, the batter was crispy and dry, good quality fish, chips crispy and soft in the middle, served with fresh mushed peas (not a paste - made from real, fresh petits pois) and rich tartare sauce. I couldn't ask for better fish and chips. Price is around £20 per person (April '23) for a main course and drink, all things considered, extremely good value.

Very nice location, and great layout too, making use of its position. Good choice of food on the menu, and all tasted great, nicely cooked and presented. However, sat upstairs and the food comes up in a dumb waiter, and was luke warm to cold. We were with a family group celebrating two birthdays so didn't say anything to ruin the great atmosphere, but just wished the food had been hot, which was the view of a few of us. That said, still tasted great, the staff were really friendly, and we'll come back again but as a smaller group.

We loved it here so much we went twice. Divine beach views, divine food and the staff really nice. The waitress with the brown skin and black hair made are drinks so beautiful with embellishments. The settings are spotlessly clean, light and area, beautiful architecture, views and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Went there with my colleagues for Christmas Brunch. Had Wild Mushroom Arancini for Starters, Roasted winter veg and lentil wellington for Mains and Chocolate Brownie + Ice cream for dessert🍨 They also made a customized mocktail for me which I absolutely loved 🍸

Food was delicious and the view of the sea from our table was beautiful. Would recommend going, affordable prices too, right on the sea front. Ray especially was amazing, he was so friendly and helpful. His service was incredible, definitely put a smile on all of our faces. We will definitely return again when in Brighton.
