The Holywell Tea Chalet - Eastbourne - Photo album

Lovely cafe at the very end of the beach. It has a great menu selection from breakfast to lunch and cakes. Lots of drinks to choose from hot or cold or even a beer. This place has great views and perfect for dogs.
I walked along the seafront and ended up having a takeaway brew at Holywell Tea Chalet as they were due to close. It’s a shame they don’t stay open later during the summer season. I’ve not eaten here yet, which is why I have rated 4 stars but when I do I’ll update my review. The staff were friendly,
Ate lunch here, pleasant area to sit outside as well as indoor seating, fast service, tasty food.
Absolutely lovely cute tearoom. Staff are so friendly and hospitable. Lots of space outside as well as inside. They don’t have a lavatory but there are Public toilets close by.
Excellent place at the foot of beachy head to come for a cold drink or a full meal. So much to choose from lots of cakes , sandwiches, etc. Lovely fresh ice cream and lollys. The view from the garden are simply incredible really worth the walk along the promenade from Eastbourne. The staff are ver
Stopped off for a late breakfast as don't open until 10. Food was lovely. Usual cafe style food. Great place to stop after a walk along the promenade or a ride on the dotto train. Would recommend.
To be honest I was expecting a bit of a dive at the end of a long walk but was very pleasantly surprised to find a modern, clean establishment with a good menu. Much bigger than expected. Just a shame one has to use the public toilets nearby as the chalet doesn't have its own.
Walked there on numerous occasions. Great place to stop for a pot of tea and a snack, before the trek back. The crows keep the seagulls at bay, but they are quick to peck at any leftovers people leave. Please put trays in rack to stop the crows going after food.
Reached it on Dotto train which stopped close by. Reasonably busy but plenty of outside seating available. I had mozzarella, tomato and pesto panini, and hubby had a cheese and tomato toastie. Nicely made and presented with salad garnish and crisps.
Well situated restaurant. Friendly service. Lovely view of the ocean. Outside and inside seating. Toilet facilities outside.
Lovely place to stop for a tea, coffee, cold drink, or food. Very nice staff too. Usually busy.
A lovely place, a quiet peaceful and a sanctuary to enjoy a tea, coffee, homemade lunch or ice cream. Plenty of seats or benches and a few cheeky gulls and crows waiting to tidy up. Well worth the walk from the main shopping beachfront areas. Cannot recommend it enough. Open all year round rain o
Great choice for breakfast/lunch always served quickly, love this place we visit maybe once a week during spring, summer and autumn.
Lovely tearoom at Holywell. It is very busy place in summer. You can stop for some ice cream or nice coffee and cake. If you hungry you can choose some sandwiches, paninis or jacket potatoe. There are beautiful views.
Popped in for a Tea and slice of Bread Pudding which was very tasty, nice little sun trap and quite busy especially with dog walkers, seems to be the place to go for them and as a bonus it's where the Dotto train stops.
It was a very pleasant place with stunning views of the South down chalk cliffs along with the beach just meters away 👍👍👍
