Yummy salt beef, I have it with a salad which is always fresh and colourful. The Trump tower sandwich was a hit with my partner too. Definitely a popular choice in our household for a tasty lunch.
Brand new sandwich shop inspired by the bright lights of New York City. Clean and inviting space with great authentic american decor.
At the heart of this place is their wide range of meat, fish and veggie/ vegan bagels. I opted for the 'Fifth Avenue' meat bagel. Packed full of flavour and fresh produce. Definitely the best bagel I have ever had.
They also have a good selection of imported american candy and beverages.
Downtown Deli is a great addition to Eastbourne. Highly recommend this place. #TopEats
Lovely place to enjoy a meal. Delicious bagels. We‘ve tried 3 different versions and all add them were amazing. Very nice and friendly staff.
Small baguettes that weren't very filling for £6, tasty enough though. Lucky we got some chips from the chippy nextdoor, which were great!
Working nearby and had been recommended to me to try the downtown deli I had the trump tower toasted baguette and it was amazing will be back also a shout out to the young lady who takes the order very polite and good customer service would recommend anyone to try good work all of you

First of all I’d like to start by saying wow is the food here amazing. I come here almost weekly (sometimes twice a week) and I’ve never had a bad meal. From its American style bagels to the Window display this place is amazing!
It’s rare to find somewhere with such high standards for food quality, great service and the perfect price all on one! from the moment you walk in you are welcomed inn like it’s a second home, all the staff feel like your family even if it’s your first meeting them. The prices on the menu are all really fair prices, so nice to see an independent business not overcharging people. (Although I would still keep going even if they did). The girl that usually works at the tills always remembers my order which is always great service in my opinion.
They have a range of all kinds of baguettes, sandwiches and bagels, with vegan and gluten-free options available too, they have amazing Mac and cheese pots that are to die for! They have a wide range of American drinks along side a huge selection of American candy and snacks plenty to choose between.
Not far from the town centre only about a 10 minute walk but far enough that it’s not ruined but the busy town life.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would everything about this place is incredible!
Very attractive menu! Was working outside and the staff were very friendly! Great coffee and even better bagels that were fully loaded, will be coming back for sure! Always seen Downtown deli with people sitting outside it’s definitely popular!
I love the Grand Central sandwich, it's my go to.
Wow!! Such an awesome visit to Downtown Deli, my new favourite place, our bagels were to die for, great American treats, love Calypso drinks what a treat.
Such lovely friendly staff too i enjoyed my visit.
