Nice little pub with a very country feel about it. They have a good selection of drinks and pour a decent pint of Guinness .
Its not a booming place but sometimes thats what you need.
They have a well laid out garden and some nice chickens that your kids will just love interacting with .

Great little pub. Surprisingly small though, expected something a bit bigger.
Menu was very restricted, roast or nothing on Sundays.
Very popular with the locals, which always bring a good vibe and atmosphere though :)
Toilets are very well maintained, you just gotta mind the step when you enter.

Excellent little pub with friendly staff and even better food. We stopped in today for a bite to eat and a beer. The sizzle steak was full of flavour and the portion sizes were more than adequate excellent value for money.

We camped down the road for a night and did not know the area at all. This did not matter when we got to The Walnut Tree. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
We sat in the garden with the dogs, had fish and chips and a couple of pints. Lovely summer afternoon.

Had such a great Sunday lunch with starter for 4then our roast but bit. Dissapointnted we asked for dessert order but tended to new customers so had to re askthink he did forget
