Had a few days break in Eastleach and visited the pub on the 2 evenings that it was open (closed Monday and Tuesday). Didn't eat here but loved the village pub ambience. Everyone friendly and the bar staff were attentive and always chirpy. A fabulous country pub and I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area.

This is a great Pub, situated at the top of the village, with a large outside seating area and a handy car park. There's food and a great range of beers and non alcoholic drinks as well as lovely food. We visited over the August Bank Holiday weekend and had a great time. Dogs seem welcome and youngsters can come with parents for food, or sit outside - they even had some live music! I would call that a 5 star Pub!

A fabulous country pub in a beautiful location, serving great beers and wines, and excellent food, all delivered with first class service. I'm glad it's not my local, as a regular diet of their cheese toastie and pints of ale would be irresistable!

Perfect country pub with a warm welcome, great service, delicious, food, great beer and a good wine menu. Never had anything but a great meal and good service here. The duck salad my current favourite and the Victoria Burger never fails to put a smile on my husbands face. Tonight he had steak which was melt in the mouth flavoursome - he wasn’t sharing other than one tantalising bite so I may have to change it up when we see you next…..

‘The Vic’ as it is locally known, is a perfect example of what a village pub should be. Set up high on a bank overlooking farm land and beautiful houses. Be sure to take advantage of their wonderful marquee on the terrace to appreciate your surroundings. The food is excellent, service is great and the beers well kept (they also have an extensive wine list). If you’re in the Lechlade area it’s well worth a short detour. If I were to have one criticism it would be they don’t open Monday or Tuesday!

Wife and I have been on vacation, not been super impressed with the pub food offerings... until now! We got there and it was super packed - all of the parking spots in their spacious lots were full but we managed to snag one from someone leaving. It was three deep near the bar but the friendly wait staff secured us a table without issue. I got the pigeon (they offered to increase portion size from app to entree when I seemed sad to discover it was a starter), wife got pork belly, kid had pesto spaghetti. Desert was bread pudding and curdled cream ice cream. Beer for the night was some 3B (not the greatest, but good for English beer). Everything was delicious and I felt they weren't making up for bland food with a huge quantity of chips, not in the slightest. Would check out for sure, especially if you're a dumb American like me!

What a delight. My wife and I tried the Victoria on a Saturday lunchtime in November. It sits in the centre of the beautiful village of Eastleach way up on top of the bank running along the main road through the village with plenty of parking. The front of the pub faces South and it was bathed in lovely autumnal sun. I can image that in the summer the outside tables must be a great place to sit and enjoy the view and soak up the sun. Inside you find a warm and cosy country pub with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. But the jewel in the crown is the food. The menu has plenty of choice and judging by what we had (Hake and a Chicken and Leek pie followed by Apple crumble) the food was amazingly tasty. Far surpassing similar dishes in other less adept pubs. This is definitely a hidden gem which rewards those keen enough to take on the country lanes to get there. We will definitely return.

Amazing country pub! Dog friendly as well. And the lunchtime food was the best! First time in four years my other half has ever seen me finish a whole meal! Food was incredible. Staff attentive and friendly too.
