chips are delicious fresh not greesey at all crunchie on outside nice and potatoe in the inside. I've heard good feed back about their kebabs .I normally go to the other local chip shop.. but decided to try a mixed kebab for my lunch today, and wow I was not disappointed the salad was very fresh lots of tomatoes and cucumber and juicy onion .The kebab meat was very tasteie and not oily the chicken was very succulent and full of flavour..

Highly recommend Mikes Chippy. Food was cooked fresh and not greasy at all. Chips cooked as they should be - crispy on outside. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Great Food and huge portions 5 star from me !

Mike’s chippy does THE BEST kebabs for such a small price. THE best chips. And it’s all so cheap compared to other places. The owners seem to be really passionate about their business and it shows. Best prices for the best quality. I highly recommend since it’s under new management!

Only niggle I have and I know it's always been like this but I don't like how you can enter from both doors meaning 2 ques kind of form from both ends and everyone mills around, I'd rather one door in one door out so it's more logical.
UPDATE: The mixed kebab I ordered did not come with pitta bread (deliveroo order. Pleasee can you update the menu to state this. It was still delicious but was slightly disappointed.
I originally left a negative review about this place, but I must say how impressed I am now with the food, my son grabbed some chips last week and as a dad I pinched a few, I will say they were the best chips I have had in a long time, so to give this place the benefit of the doubt we had a kebab from there last night, WOW now you will not get a kebab anywhere around the size of them was massive and well worth the money, again pinched some of the sons chips and yet again very impressed, Keep up the good work, I will now carry on supporting you as a small business . What a wonderful dinner my mum and I had tonight. Fish, chips and a fish cake. All cooked lovely. Light but crispy batter on the fish, very tasty and not overpowering with salt and vinegar on the chips and the fish cake was crispy on the outside really smooth on the inside just how it all should be! Would definitely recommend!

Wow, very good first time at Mike's Chippy for their trial evening. Opening officially tomorrow. Food was cooked to perfection. Very friendly smiley family. I had Cod and Chips very tasty 😋 highly recommend 👌🏻 discount Blue Light card holders too 🌈 we will certainly be coming back
We saw it was open, thought we’d give it a go. The food was great! We had Cod, Fishcake and Chips. We will definitely be visiting again. Staff also seemed very friendly, great service! Good luck with the proper re-opening tomorrow.
I just had a lovely double cheeseburger remote fish and chip shop. I fully recommend to everyone very nice much better than the old owners.
Saw it was open tonight as I was driving past so stopped for a portion of chips to try it out now it’s re-opened under new management.
Chips were delicious and the staff/owners were incredibly friendly - I’m delighted to have my local chip shop open once more!
