Review Birch Tree Cafe - Easton on the Hill

Great gem of a place. We stopped off to pick up a picnic lunch as we made a five hour road trip. It was only five minutes off the A1. Great staff and everything we bought was homemade and delicious. Minestrone soup was full of fresh vegetables and tasty. Chicken sandwich was deep filled, fresh granary bread with a side salad and crisps. Cheese scone was exceptional. Appreciated all of the biodegradable take away containers. We had our own cups for coffee. Thank you. If you eat in lots of choice of seating indoor and outdoor

Great quality food and drink at reasonable prices in a clean, light and airy café. The service is always with a smile and everything cooked is made in house with the cakes being sourced from a local independent baker. Perfect place to enjoy a coffee and a light bite - especially on a sunny day.

I've called in here a few times whilst in the area. A lovely little cafe, good value food, great relaxed atmosphere. As for the apple pie, it's divine!

Visited today as we had heard great things about this inclusive Café. Located just off the main road in Easton on the hill near Stamford, this beautifully designed space is bright and airy with plenty of potential. We ordered a cappuccino, large filter coffee and 2 bacon baps. The drinks were brought to us quickly, and our food followed soon after. My wife says it was the best cappuccino she's had in a very long time, I was a little disappointed with my coffee having a very bitter after taste to it. Our bacon baps were fantastic, crispy back bacon in a beautiful soft white roll, would absolutely recommend these to anyone. We have already planned to come back with our children as there were some outside play items to keep them busy. The inclusion of those with differing abilities is an amazing concept and should be replicated across many towns, helping bridge the gap for those who want to work but who need additional support to see them succeed.

Beautiful cafe. It's very spacious with patio doors which open out to a lovely, large and well-kept outdoor area. Very inviting! Had a scone which had been freshly made that morning - a generous size and so tasty. Staff were incredibly welcoming upon arrival and friendly to chat to. Would 100% recommend and will be returning soon.

Excellent selection of cakes and very good coffee, but what makes this place special is the staff!!! Very friendly and hard-working people are the heart of this cafe!

A real find in the lovely village of Easton, close enough to Stamford and Peterborough without feeling you have to travel miles to get there. Food is largely homemade to a good standard and reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere generated by the helpful staff. It does get busy but when you have been, you will appreciate why.
