College Hill Tavern

Went to CHT yesterday for our first time enjoyed sitting on the patio , friendly staff and quick service. We had the hand breaded chicken fingers as an appetizer with a ranch which was amazing and had the four cheese bacon burger which was very flavorful and also the special chicken broccoli mac & cheese which was also so flavorful. Moscow Mule was very tasty as well will definitely be back.

Sadly, CHT has really gone down hill. It used to be a fun bar with great food. I went with my family for the 2nd time recently, thinking the last time was maybe a fluke, my boneless wings were burnt beyond being able to eat as well as the table fries, I was wrong. Not only was the service slow, the food was deplorable. Their fries were literally inedible, once again. The only edible food, at best, was my salad. They literally put blue cheese crumbles in sour cream and call it "house made ". The carrots on the wing dip app were not cleaned. They should be ashamed of themselves for the prices they charge and the food they serve. I understand food costs have increased, but the quality should not change. If you're charging those prices, you should be able to eat and enjoy the food you're paying top dollar for.

I always come to this bar when convenient. I live two blocks away.for two tears i am satisfied with this service until Superbowl time, this grey haired potbelly worker,busser started to question me and attempted to deny service. I said,"7 there are tables open and a table clearing," he said ," they are clearing because there are other persons coming in," until a gentlemen, " maybe he is in charge an accommodated me. Came in from time to time as I do laundry and convenient to have a few drinks and snacks. The waitress, name, Ally , served us well and superb Ally is a recommended and all is good with her services.

I don't like to write reviews but this place deserve one. I decide to take my kid there for lunch, he attends to Lafayette College, we walk in to this place and was empty we order some food after 50 minutes waiting we ask the waitress why everyone that came in after us is eating and we not ? all we order was two burgers, He's answer was " Ooops I"m sorry I forgot to put your order in " You forgot to put my order in we where the first customer that walked in to this place. As a entrepreneur business owner that I'm this is bad for business you don't treat people differently. In my opinion this place treat people of color differently from white folks. I felt it yesterday and is not right you are next to a college where there's a lot of diversity. I will bring this bad behavior to the school president and to the school board.
