Fantastic stay! Parked out front, nice room, very comfy bed, no noise after pub hours, staff friendly as you could ever want!
Had a great sleep and woke up to a fantastic full English included. Great gas/boiler shower in a separate bathroom a few feet away, and even gowns provided.
Food was great, and very happy they had some 0% beers and cider and gin, as I’ve given up booze lol. A real gem of a place.
Only had breakfast, hence no room rating.
Breakfast was spot on. Initially, it looks a bit pricey, but for what you get, it's good value, in my opinion.
Staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
I would happily recommend this place to anyone.
Had a wedding at the blazing donkey, booked a room for the night at The Five Bells which wasn't far from the wedding location. Beautiful warm welcome from all staff the room was perfect, clean and what you need for an over night stay. I slept really well!! Service was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast in the morning was the best brrakfast I've ever had at a hotel/b&b. Highly reccomend The Five Bells. We will definitely be back :)
We had a lovely family lunch here today, after a morning at Richborough fort. Lovely atmosphere for a midweek lunchtime and great friendly service. The kids menu was good value and the (adult!) desserts were particularly delicious!

Love : kids' corner with massive tables to spread out toys and board games
Love : cozy fireplace, and warm toned decor

Very pleasant weekend stay at "olde" village centre pub. Staff were genuinely friendly, helpful and attentive; room was nice, very good breakfast.
The restaurant serves simple, homely but nicely prepared fare.
One small grumble - there was a modern bandit machine flashing away in the restaurant room (but at least the sound was turned off and no-one used it while we were there).
Met up with friends for an evening meal. They have been several times before. We were certainly not disappointed. Great welcome from the land lady and her staff. Great home cooking and they were very accomodating over the meals chosen to ensure dietary needs were met. Good village pub and used by the village community. Lots of events being held check it out and make sure you call in. We will return
Stayed here to play golf at the weekend, really friendly staff and v strong games room. Decent breakfast included in the room the following morning
I can't really comment on the rooms as we didn't stay but the staff, service, location, atmosphere, food and drinks were on point and the entertainment was brilliant too.. couldn't recommend the place more xx
