Definitely worth a visit. Popped in for a meal which I had a steak pie. Definitely 5 out of 5 for the pie. Probably the best I have had in a pub. Homemade and rammed full of meat. Had a drink and ended up staying the night. A bit noisy for me but my partner slept all night. Breakfast the follow
Great location for our family get together. Room very clean and comfortable, breakfast good quality and delicious. We booked 3 rooms and had dinner on the Friday night which again was very tasty. Friendly attentive staff who gave us a warm welcomed after our long journey. We would recommend this pub

Wonderful place to stay. Great staff superb food . I had the Jamaican patty for starter followed by a 12 inch rump ,I could not fault any of it Would definitely recommend eating here. The room was really nice and we would stay here again.

We stayed here for a near by wedding for 3 nights with breakfast. We had 3 rooms and we have had the best stay , rooms perfect , breakfast and evening meal , the food and service have been excellent, thank you for making us feel so welcome and would highly recommend & stay here again
We had a lovely stay. Given a bigger room which was lovely & very clean. Very friendly & welcoming staff.
Dropped in for Dinner. Lovely front of house staff and tentative Waiters (Will was Brilliant) Very Accommodating to Gluten free requirements. Tables well spaced for privacy but still a cosy vibe. Can't recommend this place enough. If I lived closer it would be a regular.

We called in at lunchtime today and lunch was fabulous. Haddock Goujons on flatbread and a duck one as well. Beautiful and what a lovely friendly welcome. We stayed here last summer and will be back. Great value

Best meal out I have had for a good time. Lovely home made pie, perfect chips and vegs. Just superb.
