Good introduction to Scottish cuisine with quality ingredients and not much waiting. The deconstructed meat pie was rather comforting.

Yum! What a delicious taste of Scotland! My first experience with haggis and tatties scrumptious! Great service. Casual but nice. Lovely decor and a warm atmosphere. The Cullen skink was especially good!
The beef and ale pie is superb comfort food. Salmon slice can do with more acidity to my palate. Nice service. I imagine it a good place for non-solo diners!

Other establishments in Edinburgh did not come up to Pibroch's standards we felt.

Our experience of Edinburgh thus far has been some what hit and miss. The rules regarding having a 6 month old child and trying to dine out has been a nightmare.
