Kims Mini Meals - Edinburgh - Photo album

It's quite a small restaurant with only a few tables. You cannot make a reservation so we had a brief wait of 15 minutes on a Friday evening. The food was pretty awesome. There is a set menu and I chose the beef, my wife the hot pot ribs. It came with small side pots of Kim chi and others I don't kn
I had a nice meal, highly recommended Korean restaurant by my friend. Everything is deep in flavour and tasty. Challenge is it is quite a small venue and it is very warm. Staff were really nice, you have to admire the tableaware
Amazing authentic Korean food in a small cozy restaurant. The staff is also very friendly and the prices are more than affordable. One thing to take into consideration: they don't serve alcohol, but allow you to bring your own.
This place deserves its consistent five star rating! Small and cosy, but the food is the focus here and nothing short of phenomenal. You know a place has standards when they take so much pride in every dish and it shows. Omelette and rice cakes were simple and delicious. And the ribs - I’m glad I tr
Really worth the wait! Really great ambiance and great staff. Service was rapid and well presented. The opening soup and banchan that come with the set menus were delicious. The mains (jiggae, ribs and bulgogi) themselves were excellent too, with very good portions of good quality ingredients and we
The pork ribs were too good! I found it to be a bit sweet but it's extremely flavourful and the meat was perfect. It also comes with a bowl of rice - a great combo! Pictures of what I had ordered and how I managed to eat the entire bowl! Would definitely recommend pork ribs. Also, thank you to the
A wee restaurant near to the main library of the University of Edinburgh with 10 small dining tables. We had beef bulgogi garnished with sesame and seafood Jjigae ( served in a steal pot). Main meals were served with tiny dishes of appetisers and a bowl of rice. The beef bulgogi was tasty but I didn
I had pork rib stew, and I chose the spicy one. It was so yummy. The ribs were soft and sweet but still spicy. But kimchi jigae was too sour. And the staff are lovely.
Amazing tiny Korean establishment in Edinburgh. Been there multiple times as a student and its pork ribs never fail to amaze me each time. The broth has always been AMAZING and it’s a must try however please choose the spiciness level carefully. The set meals do come with a few starter dishes which
We walked past Kim's Mini Meals accidentally and were standing outside for a few minutes pondering the menu, peeking inside and checking Google. We weren't quite sure whether we wanted to go inside (we actually had made reservations for a different place later that night), when one of the super frie
Outstanding! Been wanting to go here for ages and the 15 min queue outside was so worth it. All the staff where super friendly, food was served quick and was absolutely delicious! The pork ribs were plentiful and tasty and my friends Seafood dish was a great portion and well flavoured. Go join the q
Uber driver dropped us at the wrong destination. We saw this restaurant about to open and a Michelin signboard right in front of the glassdoor. Quickly we was told to form a queue before bunch of people jumped in as well (lucky us, we’re the first in line) £14 meals, good deal especially it has bee
Our waitress was incredibly sweet and friendly. Food was good too
The food here is always wonderful, I've been maybe 10 times. Highly recommended. Although you cannot book and it gets busy, so I recommend turning up at opening to guarantee a table. They can be a little "get in and get out", but I understand that it's small so they need to turn over the tables quic
I had amazing lunch here, with seafood jigae and ginger tea. Love it so much, the shrimp was fresh and the soup was scrumptious. I was lucky to have a seat at lunch time, they usually have long queue. And staff was amazing, unfortunately it does not serve take away.
Was waiting to visit here for a while as many friends recommended it. Also as I was told it's always packed, and we waited outside for the table for about 40 minutes after arriving around 6pm on Friday, so be prepared for that 😁 Food was great, we had pajeon and beef bibimbap. Loved cute side dishes
Pros: Korean cuisine paradise. One of the best Korean cuisine in Edinburgh in my opinion. Cons: Please check their website about open and closure, my friends went there and realize later that it’s closed for holidays. No reservation, only walk-in and all attendees need to be present in order to get
