The Bonnington Leith - Edinburgh - Photo album

I've not been in for a while since they changed owners. Possibly the best service I've ever experienced. Small problem and a delay with our food, which wasn't a big issue as we came in for a couple of drinks. Manager refused to let us pay for the food at all. The food was good and large portions and
One of my favourite pubs in Edinburgh at the moment. A really lovely, friendly, relaxed pub with the nicest staff and a good mix of punters. I really like the look of the place too, it really feels like home from home. We just moved locally so have enjoyed coming to this pub recently. We've been li
Absolutely fantastic under the new management! We had a booking, but wanted to come in earlier than planned and with an extra person, which was no problem. Very attentive, skilled, and friendly staff. All food was delicious - the nachos and dips were had a fresh twist to them, the hake was cooked pe
This place has been recently taken over so when I heard they do Sunday roast I was in. Very hard to come by in Edinburgh. Have to say on the whole it was very tasty however the broccoli was so hard it had almost jumped from the garden to the table and missed the steamer completely. The Yorkshire pud
Only popped in for quick drink b4 an event x bit staff were lovely and place was spotless and cosy x
At first glance it’s a relatively small menu but what’s on offer still leaves you spoilt for choice. The food was brilliant, staff attentive and friendly and all in all a great venue away from the noise and busyness of Leith Walk. Will definitely be back soon! (At the time of posting their overall
One of the few good things to come out of the pandemic era for me was the rediscovery of this fantastic food pub. It opens for breakfast on the weekend, and always early enough for brunch. Pancakes, big veggie breakfasts or traditional grub. It's all good. Tip; the area downstairs is better for di
Gorgeous food, lots of it, well worth the money. Nice pub, clean and the staff are friendly. If you have a big appetite, go for the nachos! The veggie burger is huge too, with the best wedges I've ever had.
Nice wee pub, very friendly staff and patrons, can generally get yourself a seat which is always nice.
Fantastic place with great beer and food. Brilliant breakfast, including a tasty vegan breakfast. Very hospitable and friendly staff

Good food and service.
Really tasty food. :) Staff was very friendly as well. Wish I stopped by there sooner!
Under New Management. Had a tidy up recently. Excellent dog friendly pub in Leith. Food was DELICIOUS & staff were very friendly and efficient. Not just ordinary pub grub. We had the Sunday roast (beef) with roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings with real gravy. My wife had the veg option with batte
Just a great bar with delicious grub and huge portions. Had the wings and fries and the Mac and cheese. So often let down by these choices but genuinely fantastic delicious stuff with tasty salad and garlic bread too and surprisingly good fries. Top marks
Me and my best mate came in for hogmany and our flat was around the corner. Honestly went to the closest place and landed at the Bonnington. The food was disrespectful to the rest of the Edinburgh because NOTHING was as good as that first night at The Bonnington. They set the bar too high!! We went
