Absolutely stunning meal. One of those that makes you go "wow" at every bite. Everything was delicious but the spiced duck breast really blew us away - has to be one of the most delicious flavourful dishes I've had in a long while. Not to mention the sticky toffee pudding is the best I've ever had (and I've had a few!). This is a little hidden gem, great atmosphere and service. Will now be my go-to for celebration meals. Don't miss out, this is a must-try!

We’re looking for a fancy restaurant in Edinburgh and we found the Perch restauran by a chance. The prices in the menu was reasonable, especially for the launch set menu, where you can have 3 courses for less than 17 pound. We took that offer and chose couscous salad, Haggis, and panna cotta for dessert and we had steak dish from the main menu and mac&cheese as a side. All of them were perfect and delicious, but maybe the steak dish was a little bit small portion. The waiter is very friendly and happy to answer any question we had regarding the food. The service is very excellent. I highly recommend to go to this restaurant if you’re looking for high quality food with good price.

A beautiful lunch in the new town. Pared back, reasonably priced set menu. Good portion sizes and I enjoyed every mouthful! Will definitely be back!

The Sunday roast was good but a bit overcooked. The overall portions and value for money was not great but the food was very tasty. Loved the atmosphere and the waiters were very nice !

Top notch, best meal I've had of 2022 thus far. Presentation was thoughtful but not over the top. Flavor and texture followed suit. The venison with the creamy horseradish sauce blew me away. Every bite had me delighted.

Six of us went, to take advantage of the Eat out to Help out. They were taking it seriously, asking customers to wear masks when moving around the restaurant, with hand gel available, and well spaced tables - all good to see and we felt comfortable being there. There weren't many people in, but the atmosphere was good. Which makes it all the more surprising that the service was so slow, with more than a 45 minute wait from us arriving to starters appearing. Without that they'd get 5 * as the food was great: subtle flavours, interesting choices and reasonable portions.

Amazing, the duck breast and the aracini are really good. Maybe the best tasting dishes I have tried in the city. Plus, the place is cozy and attention is great also.

We decided to try this place as it was close to our hotel and we were delighted when we left. Food was brilliant and so were the local drinks, highly recommend!
