You have to try this place it's sooooo good. Lovely, clean and bright restaurant with really nice staff. We both had chicken tikka shashlik and they were amazing !!! Really good flavours and beautifully presented. The naan was perfectly cooked and so was everything else. Defensively recommend 💯

Chaskaa is a flavor explosion! The Chicken 65 was spicy perfection, and the chilli paneer curry had just the right balance of spices. The garlic naan was heavenly, and those masala fries were addictive! We left with our taste buds dancing and will definitely return for another flavorful adventure. Bearing in mind the restaurant closes at 10:30pm i had called at 10pm asking if they can still provide us with a table. The staff were mindful and said yes. Not only that but they stayed open until 11:30pm until all guests had left (where we were the last ones to leave) which was nice.

Never knew this place existed. Went last night and without a doubt the best curry I've had for some time. Delicious and unique dishes and a well-chosen wine list. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I thoroughly recommend the vegetable pakora chaat to share, along with poppadoms and pickles before your main. A delightful experience. Will be back.

My partner and I tried Chaskaa after seeing it mentioned on various sites as one of the best restaurants in Edinburgh. And that is exactly what we experienced. Food was delicious, staff very welcoming, and we have had probably the best naan bread in our lives. They offer specialties from various regions and have wee explanations to them which is thoughtful. Our experience was great and we will be coming back!

Our first time in this lovely restaurant and were very impressed. We were there at an odd time, 2:30 or 3:00 late afternoon, and the place was quiet, but we were warmly welcomed and given a window table; menus were given and dishes explained. I was really taken by the smiles and friendliness of the staff. Then the food arrived. Oh, my. Absolutely delicious and plentiful. We ordered a vegetarian dish for me and a chicken dish for my husband. I couldn't finish mine so they kindly wrapped it for me to take home. I really recommend this restaurant.

Food is very authentic and the staffs are lovely. We had so many food and drinks but everything was made to the perfection and The staff ( from Hyderabad, apologies as we cannot recollect her name) was absolutely fantastic and so is Ashish da. Rajesh was very prompt to welcome us. Overall very good experience and will definitely come back.

They allowed the dog in, which was a very kind gesture. Food was tasty! Generous portions so make sure you don’t order too much. Not very authentic, but probably the most authentic you could get in Edinburgh.

I just had one of the most delicious curries of my life! You’ve probably seen reviews like this and moved onto the next one for more context. Fair enough. I like food a lot and I reckon you can taste when it’s made with love. This was one of those examples — the Banjara Gosht! Excellent!

Passing through Edinburgh, my family and I went to this restaurant after seeing the very high rating that it had, and we enjoyed it so much that we went back there two days later ! The food was excellent, very tasty, and the portions were generous. I also really liked the fact that the different regions of India where the different dishes came from were indicated. A very good price-quality ratio!

Great lamb biryani but a little spicy. The stomach will burn if you accidentally swallowed a piece of chilli.
