I had my first Punjabi meal at this restaurant and I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The service was great. People were extremely nice and the food was so sooo delicious.
Mister Jameel was patient with me, and was nice enough to recommend dishes with detailed explanation.
I recommend this place a lot.

This restaurant certainly ticks all the boxes , it is undoubtedly one of our family favourites. Our meal was superb and service was far greater then we have had across other restaurants. It was a very memorable experience and I highly recommend.

My brothers 'local' came highly recommended by him. And rightly so. Somewhat of a legend in Edinburgh Omar Khayyam has been around for a long time, serving up some fantastic food. The fact they have been around for so long shows the high standard that they have continually produced over the years hasn't stopped.
I'm still somewhat new to the Indian restaurant scene, so I've been very excited trying new places for the last couple of years. This place doesn't disappoint.
After a warm welcome, we were served our drinks and shortly after the food. Every dish was delicious. So flavoursome and deep with spice and richness. And the puddings ! Amazing.
I would recommend this place to anyone.

The best food, staff, and atmosphere. The food was absolutely scrumptious and waiter was very helpful. We got the lunch special which was very inexpensive. I would definitely recommend coming here for lunch!!

This place far exceeds any sort of service I’ve experienced in the US. The food was excellent, the staff is on top of it. They had amazing vegan options and the flavors of everything were so good. I loved this place.

Came here for a bite to eat with my family after having it recommended to me.
The food was delicious and the service was great. All the staff were friendly and attentive.
The decor was nice too.
I would recommend this place for a family meal or birthday, not overly expensive and definitely worth it.

Just visited this restaurant after it being recommended by a friend and I must say, don’t listen to the few bad reviews. These guys were first class from arriving to leaving. Device, very attentive, friendliness, very good, food, quick, hot and delicious. We will definitely add this to our list of restaurants for revisiting. My girlfriend and I went for a meal the other day. The food was so tasty, portion sizes were great and was overall good value for money. All of the staff were very pleasant, Naz especially. Would highly recommend!
