Great pub with good pub food! The hamburger and chips was so good! My husband tried haggis for the first time and said it was good. Friendly service too!
We ordered the haggis, neeps and tatties as well as the bangers and mash. The food was fine but the service was quite poor. After we placed our orders and the food was dropped at our table we didn’t see our server again for half an hour while our drinks sat empty, which was a bit disappointing. Over
Great Scottish pub with great local beer and food. Was here around dinner time, and it was very busy, but I was able to get seated within about 10 minutes. Very good onion rings, garlic bread, fish and chips, and burgers! Definitely recommend if you're in the area!
Nice server, got seared right away. Beer is cold. I had the goat cheese salad, and it was magical! Warm goat cheese rounds on toasts topping a field green salad with balsamic vinegar dressing and pockled onions with cherry tomatoes-- it felt indulgent and healthy at the same time!
Great atmosphere and food! Apart from trying some great Scottish foods we also had to try out the Battered Mars Bar - intense, but definitely a must in Scotland! Also the street the bar is located on is very cozy with lots of other nice places
Delicious pub style food here at the Fiddler’s Arms! Had the bangers and mash and it was perfection! The sausages were savoury, the yorkshire was perfection and the gravy was delicious! Also had the cider on tap, great accompaniment to the meal!
Food and service were fantastic. We arrived quite late in Edinburgh and after walking around, decided to try this place. What a lovely surprise, friendly service, delicious food and a great atmosphere. The sticky toffee pudding was incredible. We liked so much that we went back for more.
Very tasty food, good beers and pub atmosphere. Local dishes in big portion, highland chicken and bangers&mash are tasted.. 5* Available without reservation!
We loved this pub; great drinks; great food. Fish and chips and excellent tartar sauce. Innis and Gunn beer and Crabbies Ginger beer. Both were excellent; both were made in Edinburgh. Crabbies was delicious, but it did take a little getting used to the ginger taste.
Delicious Scottish food! I had cullen skink and sticky toffee pudding and it was perfect for a chilly evening. It was crowded when we first came in, but the staff were very friendly and caring and assured us they'd have a table for us soon. Situated on a busy corner of Grassmarket overlooked by Edin
