St Giles' Cathedral Cafe - Edinburgh - Photo album

Quiet little cafe under St Giles' Cathedral. It's a great place to go if you want to get away from the more crowded cafes on the Royal Mile. Good food and great service, have gone back for the stuffed potatoes. Unfortunately this cafe is now closed for business.
Nice ambience and helpful staff. A reasonable enough selection of interesting things to eat to please most folk. At times when the High Street is thronging with visitors it is surprising that this cafe, tucked under and behind St Giles, is not busier.
We were there to visit the cathedral and had to wait as it was Sunday and they were having service. We saw this little gem in the back as we wandered around. I wanted to go back but time did not allow. Amazing service. The friendliest staff and delicious foods and pastries.
Nice, quiet option tucked away in the cathedral off the royal mile. A variety of salads, soups, and and filled rolls. Good food.
Freshly prepared food and a range of tea/coffee accompaniments. The location provides a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a bit of peace from the daily bustle of the High Street.
Excellent mushroom, potato and rocket soup, vegetable salad. Good tea and drak chocolate florentine later.
Very nice food generous portions in a quite ish courtyard. We enjoyed ☺
Great coffee while waiting for court to get back on the bench. Staff polite and ready to help.
Rather stark coffee shop situated in St Giles' crypt, however the food is rather good.
Little hidden gem with some tasty food and as a café in the basement it is literally supporting the Cathedral
Hands down one of the most gorgeous cathedrals I have ever seen. Marvelous!
Quaint with good tea and coffee plus cake etc
Best value for money in Edinburgh.
Nice cafe in what was the Crypt
