Had a great meal last night for our daughters birthday. Although we were a very varied age group we all enjoyed the food - very tasty. Our server was really good and couldn’t do enough for us. An enjoyable night had by all.

Can always rely on TGI's for a good feed. It's nothing fancy and some would say over priced however you won't be leaving hungry and there's a cocktail to suit everyone. Often a long wait as it is so busy however the quality of food and service is worth the wait. The bruschetta is a personal favourite.

I love tgi's and this time was no exception! We went for my brothers birthday and had a really good night. The food was so good, and with the app we got one of our starters for free! The staff were really friendly and service was great!

Delicious comfort food and great atmosphere! Portion size is very important to me and so I was quite pleased with our dishes. I had a bit of a problem with the slow service but menu variety is great so I will definitely be back to try more!

Good for groups. Had a great night here once or twice -

You know what you're getting - ok everything is'nt freshly made as its franchise food therfore its not overly exciting grub - But if you're heading out with a bunch of mates and fancy a good atmosphere, big portions to fill you up and nice service then go here. Good value.

Ribs are class

It was a busy night when we visited, but we weren't complaining. After all, we were in good company and were well looked after! The atmosphere is great, it's nicely decorated with an American theme and I definitely couldn't fault the portion sizes or the taste of the food! We were given a menu where we were given exclusive previews to the new burger offerings on their menu and I decided to go for the one that wouldn't fill me up too quickly and I was most definitely happy with my choice: the French Dip burger with caramelized onions, melted Swiss cheese and garlic mayo served with a rich beef sauce to pour over or dip your burger in.

Just wow. How do you like my #burgerface that was taken on the night? Be afraid. Be very, very afraid. I take my burgers seriously

One of the best places for a good chocolate cake. We visited for dessert and both had the chocolate fudge cake, which we had planned on doing as we knew it was good! A bit flustered upon arrival as we were running late but the staff put us right at ease and were very attentive, especially our server, Junior. He was very friendly, chatty, and also very quick with our drinks and getting the bill, etc. The chocolate cake was delicious, which we knew it would be. Warm, soft and huge! Would highly recommend.

We visited this location for dinner this evening and we can say that we had a great experience. The atmosphere was typical American as is every TGI, but the mixture of European architecture was well done. The food was also superb. Our server, Carmen, and Manager, Kristy, were very helpful and attentive to make sure our food allergies were taken into consideration and worked around. They went the extra mile and made us feel welcomed and had a great dinner. This made us feel valued and appreciated. We would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a good burger in Edinburgh!

Me and my friend went there for her birthday we had found out you can get 20% off by signing up on an app. We ordered 2 chicken tacos, 6 hot wings, 1 double glazed burger to share for our mains then we had the birthday ice cream with a cake on top. The meal was very fulfilling we couldn't eat any more after that. The staff seemed very cheerful and efficient.

Food, Atmosphere was amazing Sadly, the service was far too slow, which was a real letdown because food was really nice and the cocktails were so good I just couldn't order enough due to the slow service

We happened upon TGI Fridays in New Town, Edinburgh and had a great dine-in experience with a charming young Glasgow waiter who gave us amazing service. The food was great and it was nice to see a familiar menu whilst travelling abroad. 👍

We were a large family group. The girl serving did a great job with all our orders and even remembered who ordered which dish. After all orders were placed, she was quick to return and sort out further orders when a small number of items were no longer available. All the food came in good time and was delicious. The staff were very attentive for re-ordering drinks, and we all had a lovely time.

Visited here a few days ago for my 24th birthday meal. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helped us with some cocktail recommendations which we promptly ordered. We got the pot stickers and prawns for starters and I got the chicken fajitas for dinner which were AMAZING - highly recommend! After dinner the staff very kindly all came over and handed me a lovely portion of cake Witt candles and they all sung me ‘Happy Birthday’ which made me feel very special! Had a lovely evening overall.

The average price for any main dish is around 15 quids, quite expensive. But excellent food! Fantastic flavour and sizes of food! Especially the beef burger! Definitely keen to come again!

Really enjoyed our meal here this evening. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating to my dietary requirements. The food was delicious. We had chicken and flat bread for starters, salad, steak & ribs and a chocolate cake for dessert. I was a little disappointed that the birthday dessert wirh candle that was promised when I signed in for our 8.30pm reservation was never brought to the table even though I added notes to online reservation and told the person showing us table. So I guess if this is something you really want you will need to be sure to tell your personal waiter. They tables were cleaned down properly after use. The lady's lavatory was clean & there were a few + cubicles. To get to them you have to go up the spiral staircase (there is a wheelchair access loo downstairs though) The interior was fabulous, lots of famous photos etc (see photos for a few) For me the downside was the music was a little loud for my taste. I am slowly loosing my hearing so hard floors with loud ambiance doesn't help with communication etc. The place is in a lovely area, you can see Edinburgh castle on your left as you enter.

Great restaurant, fantastic food, lovely staff. Try the JD Sesame chicken, and the sizzling fajita. Only downside is the music volume is always a bit too loud which makes talking a bit difficult but that's a whole chain problem not specific to this venue! Oh and TOP TIP if you like garlic go off menu and order garlic chips -they normally only do them with one specific menu item but will make them for you if you ask. Garlic lovers won't regret it!

We went here during the fringe and Beth our server was very good friendly and polite, it was really busy but despite that she was not flustered. Speed of service was a bit slow but that was because they were busy. Food was really nice.

I enjoyed my dining experience here. The Negroni cocktail was really good. The place is cool and i loved the vibe inside. The food was good, but i found the sesame chicken a bit too sweet. The portion was massive though, so come here with an appetite! ;) they take American Express which is always a bonus. However when I made the reservation online I chose to dine at the bar, and instead i was seated at a table - I didn’t see anyone sitting at the bar so I’m not sure if it’s something to do with corona or whatever silly reason, so if it’s not available i don’t see why they let me book it on the website. Oh well.
