With little time to spare we popped into Pizza Express for a quick pizza & drinks before a concert in Princes Street gardens last night.
We both had Polo ad Astra romana base with Anchovies, red wine & coffees.

On our first trip to Scotland we went to Pizza Express on our first evening in Edinburgh. The first meal was so delicious, we went there again on the second evening as well. Thumbs up for the people over there, the service and the good food!
The pasta is really nice with a nice combination of smoky meat and cheese. The sticks also contain a light, stretchy cheese coated in breadcrumbs.
The tiramisu was delicious. Nice and creamy and you can really taste the coffee in it.

Gluten free pizza was a small and lacked flavour. If I had to pick another gluten free dish again, I wouldn't go for the pizza. They are good about taking tesco vouchers though.
