The Castle Arms - Edinburgh - Photo album

The place is just under the castle, the food is typical and very well done, the haggis is a must to try but also the lamb shank was very tender and juicy, the price is really good consider the position and the portion of the food. The view outside is amazing. If you go to Edimburgh tou have to eat
I had the lamb shank. It was very delicious! Inviting pub atmosphere. Quick meal service. Tasty gravy. Creamy potato. A safe haven from a rainy day and a 2 minute walk to the entrance to the castle.
Decent pub for where itโ€™s located! Full of tourists, especially in August (totally my bad for visiting at this time!) so got quite busy / hectic. However service was decent, beers were good (they had a decent selection), and food was alright considering!
First day in Scotland and we found the Castle Arms. Kind wait staff. Delicious food and a fun and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Gustav did an amazing job.
I would give 100 stars for the food. Had castle arm special haggis with mashed potatoes vegetables and mushroom sauce. It was ๐Ÿ˜‹ the quantity is awesome for the price. Kids loved their burgers. Salad ๐Ÿฅ— bowls and pizza everything ๐Ÿ˜‹ we had yumm. Still my fav is castle arms haggis ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฅ™๐Ÿ›๐Ÿ”
Good place to come for a pint and some pub food. It was very busy but the service was still quick. They have a good selection of beers on tap and very tasty food.
Stopped in for early lunch - food was good for the most part (mash and chips slightly bland). Friendly and quick service
We arrive around 9 PM but they kindly accepted ro keep the kitchen open only for us. Food was excellent, tasteful and made of fresh and quality ingredients. The restaurant is located between Johnson's terrace and Victoria's terrace and offers splendid views on Edinburg old town. Inside decoration is
Nice pub near the Royal Mile for standard drinks and food. Quick service, restrooms available downstairs, limited seating.
Had an amazing night watching the Rugby World Cup at The Caslte Arms, whilst getting introduced to the whiskey world by the whiskey connoisseur who even managed to get my partner to try whiskey! Extremely friendly staff and warm atmosphere, highly recommend going for a drink.
Great pub with exceptional staff. Drinks were bang on and was visiting the city for a birthday and was very well looked after. 100% worth a stop to hydrate and grab a bite to eat before continuing to explore Edinburgh.
Amazing food! I had Haggis twice, the two times I went to Edinburgh, and I would eat this dish everyday. 100% recommended!
Bar staff this evening were fantastic, Hubert & Matthew are first class. Visited with my partner and felt welcome for the start. Unsure of what drinks to choose both guys mentioned above have excellent knowledge and were very accommodating. Their drink choice was not something I would have ordered
What a lovely pub with very friendly and helpful staff. 3 excellent Scottish ales available. Both meals that we purchased were very good. Has a terrace with great views over Victoria Street when the weather is less cold than March '23. A welcome pub before or/and after a visit to the castle.
Super amazed at Hubertโ€™s knowledge of whiskey! Iโ€™m not normally a whiskey drinker but he put together an awesome combination of local drops that I really enjoyed!
