We came accross this cafe whilst walking down the Royal Mile from the Castle. The staff were reasonably friendly and the food of a great quality and good price. Both of us had the soup and a sandwhich plus tea and coffee. It arrived promptly and looked and tasted great. A nice experience for lunch and handy for tourist trails.

Located on the popular Royal Mile, The Hub has taken over the historical Victoria Hall and accommodates the stylish Cafe Hub along with offices and event venues.

Tried the Grilled Herb Chicken with Fries which was good. The meat was well cooked and the fries were crisp.

The service was nice and the prices are fair. Overall a nice place to visit for lunches.

We went to the cafe for Christmas dinner and we had great food and great service. We were surprised by how fast the food came after we ordered. We had salmon flakes and duck starters followed by venison, the last two available, lucky us. It is a very open space with bare tables but comfy seats. Not the warmest place either as an old church building.

Good Cafe with fast service and nice dishes. The prices are moderate and the location is well made. In conclusion nothing special but also not bad. Good for a lunch break on the Royal Mile.

This is the best place on the royal mile street. It's very high but narrow building. I didn't look inside because of wedding ceremony at that time, but I heard it has a beautiful interior inside.

Even if there is no concert or event, the Hub still has a very nice cafe. Perfect for a quick.stop if you are sight-seeing

This is a rather odd but worthy visit to a majestic church that has been converted into an office space with a cafe. You will really enjoy looking at the outside of this church as it has a very strong presence and there are some beautiful inside details as well. Its also neat to have a meal in the cafe and rest a little. The food is enjoyable but nothing amazing. It is definitely worthy of stopping by and resting a little. It would be great if more of the church was available to tour around as its a very powerful statement in the cities layout.

I attended this venue for an event so I'm not sure whether they were venue staff or event staff, but they were great. Really chatty, friendly and happy to help. Beautiful space inside with gorgeously unusual artwork built into the words around the staircase. I was too busy focusing on the event to look around the space much, but it was perfect for our purpose so it was excellent all over.

Situated near the castle this place has very easy access for wheelchairs. The food was excellent with a range of burgers, baked potatoes and sandwiches with an option of soup or chips with a half sandwich which was very tasty. Good value for an eatery in the capital city.

Superb venue for our office Burns Night dinner. Amazing food, beautiful surroundings, wonderful entertainment all topped off with a ceilidh. All right in the centre of the city - an excellent use for the old General Assembly of the Church of Scotland building, and a perfect conversion to the role.

We just had our wedding here and what else can I say but a superb venue, the important parts to note are the staff and the food. They will make sure that you make it through your wedding day with a smile on your face and help guide you through the work that you'll need to do to plan your big day. The food is simply superb, the roast beef and marscapone cheesecake that I had were particular highlights for my day. All was served perfectly and will be one of my strongest memories from our big day. The Venue itself is in the heart of Edinburgh and is very easy to get to by public transport or by foot if staying in the old town. The venue spaces are simply stunning, looking down from the gallery above the main hall to the tables all laid out for our guests was a sight enjoyed by all of our guests before the start of the ceremony. The main hall is quite large and can provide a big space to have a dancefloor, it's more than suitable for the the most boisterous of ceilidhs. I came here to gush about how good a time we had and I hope it shows in this review. Highly recommended!

Lively and friendly multipurpose "arts centre". It replaced the much loved Cornerhouse cinema and the Library Theatre. And once it finally opened (it was years late) it does a very good job. The bar / foyer is a nice place to meet friends (or even strangers),and the food is mid-range.

Lovely, bright and bold cafe within historic building. Reasonably-priced, makes a meal memorable and special. Went here for Christmas lunch one year and a friend's wedding once. Recommended for tourists and locals alike.

We went for the Burns Night supper. Amazing venue, really tasty food, and an incredibly fun Ceilidh, with lots of patient instructions for absolute beginners like us. Everything was 5 stars. Highly recommend!
