My favourite place to drink in Edinburgh. £3.50 cocktails and an actual dog? That's a done deal! My favourites are the cosmo and the drumstick lolly cocktail. Seriously go to this place, and say hello to Hero for me :)

Known as a cheap student bar with a decent quiz on a Monday but it's got a new kitchen by MacVPizza selling 3 different macs & pizzas (unsurprisingly). It's homemade street food- style fare that's delicious but the portions are massive! You'll need the doggy bag option they offer.
a very cool bar, we went here for the butterbeer which was more of a coctail, but very good taste!
Went for a drink after dinner with some friends, quirky pub with very odd decorations. Lovely atmosphere and young and friendly people, there was DJ playing live music on Friday night. They also serve butterbeer!
I love this place! Edinburgh is well known for its eccentric culture and art. But this pub/restaurant takes it to a whole new level. From the music, to the interior design, to the love of dogs and graffiti and the charity like support of the local community. Great place

The staff are amazingly welcoming and friendly.
There was 2 great guest DJ’s playing vinyl 45’s ska / reggae music.
I’m hooked and I’ll be back again soon.

Amazing all-vegan gluten-free food, incredibly dog-friendly, a great vibe and great people on both sides of the bar. Instant favourite!
This place is great. Chill, good vibes. The all plant based Mexican food is 10/10. Pineapple tacos a definite highlight. Loved it

Good vibes, good music, good food by Anjitos and spend hours every visit debating whether something was on the wall or ceiling days previous.

Lovely pub with plenty of drinks (including vegan cocktails) and Mexican plant based grub! I highly recommend the banana-baja tacos!! The texture and flavor of the filling is unreal. Only minus point is tortillas are premade/frozen so may have a little bit of an aftertaste and/or get cold quickly.
