We went here as the place we wanted to go was closed, and so glad we did. From our host, to our food, everything was excellent: an absolute hidden gem on a quiet street. Much more posh than I expected from the previous reviews but very nice and welcoming! The food was excellent, not cheap but you get what you pay for. The steaks are sourced from a local butcher but it was slightly undercooked for my taste. Definitely worth a visit!
Lovely cosy atmosphere, made very welcome by Neil, our waiter. Starter of mussels was superb, interesting flavours with the chilli. The main course of steak, chateaubriand was cooked exactly the way specified, and very very tasty. Large helpings. A memorable evening .
