Happy Bean Cafe - Edinburgh - Photo album

First time trying haggis in a haggis and bacon roll with brown sauce. Really good contrast of textures and meating flavours. The haggis is like sausage but more mealy and grainy. The bread was soooo good- Scottish rolls are far superior to English baps.
The best cinnamon scroll I’ve ever had in my life. No photos, because it’s in my tummy. I’m very lucky because I’m only visiting for the weekend and we came across Happy Bean Cafe. The cinnamon scroll is really very good, I’m sure the other food are good too!
Well, this is a breakfast of champions, couldn't finish it, and both of us are completely stuffed. I doubt I'll eat anything else all day. I'll need a heart transplant after this 😆. I highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed at all, the biggest portion I've ever seen for a breakfast in
Came here for coffee and a breakfast roll with egg and bacon. The dude was nice and very straightforward. The coffee was decent, but the breakfast roll was super good.
I love Scotland like BIG LOVE and personal cafes like Happy Bean Cafe with awesome coffee is a super find. Wish we had time for breakfast bc the sandwiches and smoothies looked and smelled amazing.
Delicious food, great portions, good service for takeaway dining only
A nice man made me a tasty fry up. Not greasy, plenty of beans, well cooked egg and a tattie scone. I would have preferred tea in a mug rather than a wee pot and a cup but that's okay. It was very nice and I'll happily go back.
Absolutely in love with the cinnamon cake! I sometimes order on deliveroo just for that. Decent and large variety of quality smoothie too, although smoothie is a bit more expensive. Wish I live closer to the shop!
At least once a week I treat myself to a veggie breakfast delivery, which totally sets me up for the day. Great portion, great value. Definitely the best in the area.
The girls and I were looking to have some lunch and will th the football being on today we were struggling to get a table in one of the local pubs. Thankfully one of the girls noticed the beautiful bread in the window we then noticed it had tables inside. We ordered the Thai and sweet potato soup it
Fantastic food and coffee. Great service and very reasonably priced -especially given the quality. Mario the owner is also very friendly and helpful. Support a great local business. Recommended!
Great coffee shop/cafe place to have your all day breakfast or just to pop in for a delicious Artisan coffee and home made bakes and fresh pastries. Love the atmosphere, the owners and creativity of the chef.
Love this place. The staff are great, and the food is always very tasty. Of course polentoni and the mana house next door get a lot of praise for being of high quality, but I find myself coming here more often as it's better value and the food is just lovely and wholesome. If anyone knows of somewhe
I've had the coffee, wraps, crepes and hot rolls from here and I've loved everything. The food is always hot and freshly made. Good service, my favourite cafe in Edinburgh.
I am an American traveling in the UK for a vacation/holiday. Let's be real, the thing we are looking for is a good portion of well made food at a good price with a warm drink. The happy bean will give you a gigantic full Scottish breakfast for less than 6 pounds. They have also got crepes that look
I'm never disappointment. This is my favourite lunch place. Great service, amazing food and in very affordable prices 👌
Just placed an order on Deliveroo of breakfast, coffee and a smoothie. Clearly made and packed with love. Thank you!
This place is my absolute favourite. I recommend the full Scottish breakfast, a cup of tea and smoothy. Although their wraps are also really creative and delicious as well
Massive breakfast + iced coffee with veg milk under 10 pounds! Basically set me up for the rest of the day. Veg breakfast is also an option.
