This is total bias for my favourite restaurant in the world. Ordered a chicken liver and my regular chicken peri peri with side of rice and corn. The food is delicious wherever I go. I can possibly eat nandos for all three meals all day. Highly recommend this place for everyone who loves some hot spicy food.
Their chicken thighs is a dish which is ultra perfectly marinated. I have tried this Nando's which in the very center of the city during my first day in Edinburgh and have been very satisfied with their fast service and delicious chicken thighs with corn and rice as side dish.
Nando’s chicken is the best, and, the service is outstanding! The staff was friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. The food was fresh and hot, just what we needed on a rainy day in Edinburgh. If we lived anywhere close, we’d be regular customers there!
Nandos is a great fast casual option if you enjoy rotisserie style chicken with a bit of spice. Even if you don’t, their menu runs the gamut of options with a ton of good apps and sides. This location is very busy being right across from the museum and while service was pretty fast, it wasn’t great and everyone seemed a bit confused who was working there. All that said, the food was still awesome and worth coming back for time and time again! There is free soda refills but it’s a bit confusing on if you can get it or your server does. Toilets are clean but down a long staircase.

Restaurant was clean. Never been to a nandos where the sauces are left on your table, but saves you carrying them around.

Nando's never disappoints you however this branch has even better view.
With good food and smiling faces, they served the best chicken wings to share, Lemon and herb chicken with peri Salted chips and garlic breads for Mains. The Gelato and chocolate cake was melting in the mouth.
Centrally located just opposite the Ntional Museum and in walking distance to Royal Mile, this place is very popular amongst tourists and locals. Worth the food and the wait.
Lovely busy Nandos, packed with tourists and students. My 14 year old nephew was thilled to eat there and so was l.
Good chicken and chips, yummy custard cakes with ice cream for afters.
The food and service was really really good. Staff was so nice.
Quite good place and very delicious food, portion size is just enough and even if you don't like the requested sauce for the dish there is a big variety of other delicious sauces from mild to SUPER SPICY HOT that you can add for free! Would visit again sometime

Came through for lunch here on a Saturday during The Fringe festivities. We were unable to make reservations due a spur of the moment choice, as it was convenient to eat there because it was right next to the National Museum (where my nephew wanted to visit oj the day).
Although the place was huge, it was packed! The staff member who greeted us by the door was very polite and kindly forewarned us that due to lack of reservation, (and being a large party), they would probably seat us until after 15 minutes. It was an acceptable wait time for us, so we gladly sat and waited.
However, 15 minutes very quickly turned in to an hour and (although we waited patiently and tried not to hound the staff) we would have appreciated any update of some sort over the course of that period, or the option to atleast have our orders taken while we waited.
I understand that perhaps in the past, people have ordered in advance and decided to walk away at the last minute (hence they didn't want to do that with us) but with our obvious commitment to wait for an hour, surely that would have given them the hint that we were definitely staying.
Another point to note is that hopefully, if the wait for the clients were expected to be that long in the future, it would be nicer to have an ample sized seating area for us to wait around in.
Anyway, after the long wait, we were eventually ushered to our table on the upper level. Once we got our group situated, we headed down to order food. Our saving grace was that the manager was quite accommodating - especially since my nephew had dietary restrictions. Another plus was that we didn't feel that the wait for the food was longer than the wait to be seated. Furthermore, the food was amazing (as always) despite the business of the place. Glad to know that the quality and taste never gets compromised!
Although the beginning of our family experience there was not that pleasant, it definitely ended well!
The food was the usual that you expect from nandos, good quality, portions are slightly small, but there are always a few sides you can add. The food and drinks were brought to us very promptly. We ordered through the app, which we found very easy to use. It is particularly useful with large parties so no one single person has to remember everyones order when at the till. It is also useful if you have a handful of toddlers to keep an eye on, as ordering at the till can be difficult while also marshalling the small people.
The service we got was outstanding. The staff were friendly, very attentive, and professional. Would definitely recommend, especially families with small children.

Always great food at Nando's, they've struck on an unbeatable formula for spicy chicken. This particular Nando's gave me the most generous helping of Olives I've had from any of their restaurants. Service was good and staff very friendly.

Location is good. Food is delicious. Peri peri sauce is awesome. There are also many other sauce options. Contactless ordering and payment feature is really cool. Nice staff also helped me ordering for the first time.
We were a bit famished after a tour of Edinburgh castle and were looking for something quick to nosh on.
Same Nando's taste, chicken didn't have much meat, remind me of chicken in developing countries that is not plump and meaty.
Nonetheless was still delicious.
The restaurant is excellent, but I had problems with a waitress just in the beginning.
She was totally rude with me, and I saw that she passed in every table to ask if everything was fine, but not on my table. Clearly a personal problem with me. But the food is great!
