Home style Fantastic thali! It's just... Yum. Very reasonably priced and plenty of choices on the menu.
And this cafe is non profit. Will come here often. So glad I tried the place out.

I love Punjabi Junction. I love its ethos, I love its food, and I love its excellent value for money.

Whenever I go in I usually get the thali, which will never put you out more than around £7.80 and has a little bit of everything - daal, curry, rice, yoghurt, salad and chapatti. For me, its one of the most authentic Indian dining experiences in Edinburgh.

It’s one of those places you want to make sure everyone knows about, yet still retains its winning charm, and always has a free table with your name on it

Great food, friendly service and and great cause behind it too. We tried a selection of curries, of which chicken was a stand out for me. For dessert, make sure you try the barfi. Not sure how I've lived in Leith and not been here before. I'll definitely be back again soon.

Excellent home style Punjabi cooking, would particularly recommend the fish curry and lamb kofta meatballs, both delicious. Prices are reasonable too. Have been here a few times now and would not hesitate to return.

Pleasant atmosphere reasonable prices and tasty curries. The spices geographic origin graphic on the wall is eye catching and informative. Welcome board outside is real laugh out loud: 'The More You Weigh The Harder It Is To Be Kidnapped. Stay Safe Eat More Cake.'

As usual we loved our lunch. Derek had veggie pakoras and then chicken currie and I had the veggie thalie. Both were cooked to perfection although the place was fairly busy. Look forward to going again! Jeannie

We ordered delivery, and the curry here are properly spicy! My partner typically eats very spicy stuff - and the Vindaloo Chicken was lethal for him! I had a nice lamb curry which was delicious, the naan were not overly filled with garlic and tasty!

A fantastic dining experience, seriously engaged and helpful staff alongside a varied and super tasty menu puts this establishment up among the best eats I have had in Edinburgh. Could not recommend more!

I have just had my first encounter with Punjabi Junction at a Social in the Square event. I had vegetable curry, rice, tarka daal and some pickle to try on the side. It was delicious. I'm not usually a fan of tarka daal but I am a fan of this one. Great flavours and balance. I'll need to head down to the cafe on Leith Walk to see what else is on offer.

Simple, affordable. TASTY. And they know if you want it with more of a kick, they won't hold back on the spice. The Thali dishes give your a taste of everything.

Another great lunch stop on Leith Walk. Punjabi Junction is a social enterprise run by Sikh Sanjog, a local women's organisation. It's bright and fresh inside and the women are always friendly. The food is the star here, with authentic Punjabi food made fresh each day. The £3 lunch boxes are a total bargain beloved by office workers up and down the Walk!

Authentic indian food, it's not british indian cuisine. Just like the way it's cooked in india. Their lassi is amazing and food is awesome. Glad to find a place near me which serves home made punjabi food. Full marks on food....tried fish pakora, vegetable curry and gajar ka halwa
