Such a hidden gem, run by a lovely lady! The service was friendly, the food was tasty, and the menu was reasonably priced with plenty of choice. Don’t judge the place by the signs outside - the interior is really cute, and the overall experience was fantastic. Support this hard working local business and give it a try!

So just visited this tiny café in the heart of Edinburgh and what a place it is. Just a minutes walk from grassmarket and what a gem. Compared to the bigger cafes on grassmarket this is definitely worth a visit. First of all the food was not only very tasty but all the extra salad and humus was an absolute bonus, all home made and very nice. They even had vegetarian and gluten free options. All of this came to less than £15 pounds and we were not only happy with the quality but also the quantity. It was very clean inside and the staff were very helpful and even answered our questions about what was open in town and what we could do during the festival. Will definitely be visiting again when we come back into town for shows during the festival.

On our ten day trip to Scotland, this was the only restaurant we visited twice! We went for breakfast. The food was really excellent, with large portions, and the value was fantastic. The woman who runs it was so sweet and went above and beyond to offer excellent service. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Only downside is accessibility: the washroom is accessed by three stairs and as far as I remember there is no railing or wall to use as support. Nevertheless, next time I'm in Edinburgh, I'll make a point of coming here again. (reposting from Trip Advisor)

I live round the corner from the cafe great little family business I think the ladies are sisters. One of my favourite spots as it’s dog friendly so I can actually take my 2 year old Beagle which unfortunately not many cafes accept. The prices are great I enjoy their wide range of tea selection. Love their mediterranean choice panini and their grilled halloumi cheese salad. They also come with a generous amount of side salads which is always nice!
