Steak Brasserie

I would love to say that I’m a bit of a coniseur when it comes to steak but this is the most amazing meal as in steak (sirloin) I have ever ever had!! It was beautifully cooked and tasted divine, melted in my mouth and the rest of the meal was absolutely delicious, as in succulent and so so tasty. My daughters aged 14 and 23 absolutely hands down said they thought it too was the best steak they had ever eaten. Thank you for making my visit to your wonderful restaurant so special and giving us a memory of an absolutely brilliant super tasty meal!! I will definitely be coming back and spreading my visit with you with so many people!! Thank you!!

A lovely restaurant that feels up market but you don't need to be overdressed for. The menu wasn't very big and they were out of a couple of items which was disappointing but the service was good and it wasn't too long to wait for food. We had the bavette steak which was beautifully cooked and tender. My son ate from the kids menu which had his favourite of chicken nuggets and chips. The nuggets were also tender and the amount was ample for a child. The only improvement there would be to offer a veg with the kids meal but he was happy. Would definitely recommend eating here.

The staff was friendly and professional, me and my partner had a Sunday lunch here and we felt welcome since the first step in. We had a SB Platter as a sharer starter and it was delicious. The bone marrow was succulent, but the haggis croquettes a bit disappointing, they lacked that flavour one expects from haggis. For main we had the Chateaubriand and the meat itself was absolutely heavenly. Such a shame it wasn't served on a hot slate or an iron plate to keep it warm. This details would have elevated the lunch to another level. I know I am persnickety but I will give 5 stars anyway, because the meat was wonderful! The sides were tasty, and the sauce lovely. Highly recommended restaurant for a meaty meal!
