Great food and atmosphere for a night out. Friendly place with tasty food.
Just round the corner from Jeremiah's Taproom and it's a BYOB so not at all expensive.
The food is so fresh. Great stuff, will definitely be back.

Amazing food in a very relaxed environment, especially good for groups. We had a few different vegetarian dishes to share amongst us, all were very nice, and this is a great place to try new things. I would recommend also having the yoghurt as a drink, and the ice cream was very good, they have rose and saffron flavours.

Every thing was very delicious 🤤. I like the rice was fluffy and tasty 😋. The chicken grill was moist . Hummus was great. They are generous with the food portions. W will comeback

We went for dinner and we have ordered Sheshlek kabbab, Kabbab with Saffron rice, Sheshlek Shawarma wrap, Turkish coffee, tee and Baklava.
- The food is beyond amazing, it tastes really really good, for me it's the 1st among Edinburgh restaurants.
- Degree of doneness is perfect.
- Food temperature is perfect.
- The waiters were very friendly and helpful.
The only two thing that I can see an area of improvements for is:
- Bakalwa needs to be improved.
- we requested two dishes to be taken away, however they brought us the containers and ask us to do it ourselves, which is really considered as disrespectful.
I would definitely come back again.

Probably the best restaurant in Edinburgh where we have dine in so far. Authentic Persian food. Best part is all foods are Halal. On top of it tea is served in a very unique way. Service is also awesome. Will visit soon

Great experience at Toranj. Kind and attentive staff, good and quick service and amazing food. We had hummus with nam bread which was fresh and soft and so good, chicken shawarma was juicy and full of flavour and highlight was the chicken kebab with rice - very well seasoned and had a nice char to it. Well worth a visit

Looking for flavor in Edinburgh? Toranj is a great choice! Small unassuming restaurant on a lower level that was clean and had great attentive service. Kebabs, grilled meats and naan did not disappoint.
Will be back next time in Edinburgh.
