Fig Tree Bistro - Edinburgh - Photo album

Food was delicious here. We were looking for a healthy option with nice outdoor seating and this was perfect. Had the mezze platter and a lentil soup - both were delicious! Lots of plants, nice atmosphere, laid back vibe. Would go back again if I lived in town.
We loved the French toast mmmm - and the coffee was lovely, not burnt (which happens a lot with non dairy milk) and fresh. We also liked the lightness of the space and the staff who were helpful and down to earth. Not sure the photos do the toast justice though.
A great place brilliant food, friendly service and for a first time to edinburg, it didn't disappoint :) The coffee and smoothies are refreshing and pleasant, and the omelette with salmon and rocket is amazing. Id definetly go back don't miss this place :)
Our favourite breakfast place during the festival. Sunny courtyard, lovely food, and not busy. (Pics are the veggie bfast and the huge pancake!).
My girlfriend and I happened on this place when it began raining in the afternoon. We had a most delicious meal- I had the American Breakfast and she got the salmon bagel sandwich. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. We ended up liking our dishes so much we split a pot of tea and slice of car
Really nice looking brunch menu and amazingly nutty veggie haggis!
We had a lovely evening meal at Fig Tree Bistro. It is a beautiful small restaurant, with beautiful rustic tables and lots and lots of lamp shades suspended from the ceiling. There is a lovely garden at the back, which would be beatiful on a warm day. We enjoyed it so much we went again for breakfas
Very nice for breakfast. I had the big breakfast. Would be nice if it came with some toast. My wife had the pancake and it was massive and tasty. The girl serving deserves a reward as it was busy and she kept everyone served and looking for nothing.
This is close to my work so I go there quite often. The staff are very friendly and the food is good with some nice little twists on your normal fare. The outside seating is great if you are lucky enough to get a nice day. It's not cheap but the prices are comparable to what you pay in that area of
Lovely place, went there for dinner after we read the recommendation in my girlfriends 'magic' French travel guide, and I must say - we weren't disappointed. Beautiful little garden terrace, we had köfte and Turkish white whine. Been to countless Turkish places all over turkey and the world, and it
The breakfast menu is very varied. I had the cinnamon French toast that came with a date and Apple chutney, honey, banana, coconut and peanut butter and chopped nuts. Delicious! Can't wait to go back to try some if the other tempting dishes on the menu!
We stayed at an AirBnB across the street in November, and ate here twice in the 3 days we were in the area. Coffee and tea were delicious, sandwiches were wonderfully tasty and spicy, and the service was wonderful, even when they were absolutely packed full to capacity. Great little place right off
Great find by accident. Menu would be apprciated by meat eaters/vegetarians alike with some gluten free options. Only a few tables so food was well cooked (comment from my Hubby "best steak I've had in years").
I love this place. Really friendly staff. I had an amazing salad with juicy fruit in it. They also have a very pleasant garden at the back where you wouldn't even believe you were in the city it is so quiet.
