The service was fantastic, I’ll be sure to return to sample the variety of cheeses, meats and breads that caught my eye on this rushed Relish visit.

Relish is a very handy deli for Leith dwellers, with beautiful jars and packets stacked on one wall and an array of cakes, bread and anti-pasti at the counter.  I usually use this as a shop rather than a cafe and think I will continue to favour take away over sitting in.  The chairs are okay but it does not feel like a cafe as much as it feels like a friendly neighbourhood deli.  I have never had the coffee but the tea is good and comes in generous sized pots. Bacon sandwiches come with your own bottle of tomato ketchup or brown sauce which is a nice touch.  The bread here is excellent and so are the cakes.  It is a brilliant deli and an okay cafe but well worth a visit.

I originally went into Relish on the hunt for some good olive oil. When I saw the charming black board menu and mismatched seating arrangements I couldn't resist ordering an early lunch. As a massive goat cheese fan I opted for a rocket, sun dried tomato salad and a flat white. The waitress/shop assistant was lovely and the food came promptly. The coffee came in quite a large portion for a flat white. It was fine but it didn't have the rich after taste I expect from a flat white and therefore didn't blow me away. I had a similar experience with the salad. all the ingredients were good, especially the sun dried tomatoes, but the rocket wasn't as fresh as I would have liked. That said they weren't stingy on the goats cheese which I highly appreciated. All in all it was a pleasant meal and I would definitely come again but it would have been a lot better if there had been more attention paid to the quality of the ingredients.

Not bad coffee. Pastries looks amazing. But for my taste a bit salty. Extremely friendly team

Really delicious and fresh soups and sandwiches. Very calm environment, perfect for cafe studying or working when it's not busy. Very fair prices and also coffee made properly 👍 highly recommend for this area! Properly tasty food from a lovely independent shop.

I'd to recommend this for quick brunch! They have various sandwiches which make you difficult to decide lol. I ate tuna & emmental sandwich with the soup, both are really nice! I'm very honest with the food though.. the taste, size, price everything is perfect! Also, I'm quite picky when it comes to coffee. I order americano and it was really good. My opinion is that if the Americano is great, the others would follow. Thanks Relish!

Decent spot for a quick lunch. Nice soup and sandwich. Ingredient quality in sandwiches/wraps is not the best/bit cheap.
