The Lantern Room - Edinburgh - Photo album

Last evening in Scotland, and we were exhausted! We were looking for something simple, easy, and tasty! The Lantern Room fit the bill, and we were happy with the pizza.
Would recommend for dinner. Service was quick. Very friendly waiter. Food was good too: decent Greek salad and cheeseburger.
Menu for all tastes. For a light meal or something substantial. Love the decor with all the lighthouse allusions.
Delicious moules frites!! Was very impressed by the food and such quick service. Highly recommend coming here! Will return soon.
Nice drinks and setting for a hotel bar, but absurd to charge £4 for a tiny cup of peanuts and wasabi peas. Pricing could’ve been clearer.
Had dinner and breakfast here. Good food both times and an enjoyable experience
The burgers are fantastic and good portions. The staff we met were really friendly and had a good selection of drinks.
Every part of meal was excellent. The wine pairing, the sauce and Venison were first rate. The Creme Brelee was wonderful cap to experience with very attentive service.
First time here, clean fresh decor. Friendly staff albeit only 2 on a Thursday night. Very close to the playhouses so ideal for pre and post show drinks.
Went in off the street on a Saturday evening, were made very welcome, my tricky dietary needs were met with good grace and professionalism and our food was delightful. Shame we were only passing through Edinburgh as I would happily eat there again. Thank again.
We had a lovely pre theatre meal here. Food was good and the staff helpful and polite. Would recommend here.
A hidden gem. Discovered this place during the Edinburgh Cocktail Weekend where we had probably the best drink of the event! Will return. (tip: enjoy your drink on the patio under the heat lamps)
This is the Courtyard by Marriott's restaurant (open to non hotel guests). The breakfast buffet here is 10 pounds and pretty good. British breakfast is missing black pudding and tomatoes.
Staff are both professional and friendly 👍main course was ok, coq a van would be better skinless and boneless but hey tasty all the same, cheesecake and creme brulee good 👌
