Was in Madogs for the first time in a few years on Friday night (6th Oct) and it was like old times. The music was fantastic, brilliant DJ! (He wasn't at all bothered by our constant requests). We danced till throwing out time and had the best night ever. Will be back soon....same DJ please!
Madogs seems to have been recently given a refit. My mum was in from out of town and suggested it for lunch as we were passing. I was sceptical, given its reputation, but I had an excellent plate of cajun chicken nachos to eat and my mum definitely enjoyed her burger, which she struggled to choose from the extensive selection. The cocktail menu looked good too, but we opted for prosecco, which was served perfectly chilled and sparkling.
It's a very nice place to start the night out with friends, having very good and cheap drinks. Location is great and with an Italian restaurant at the top.
Good cocktails that were a decent price based on location. Good music and good bartenders.
