Food was amazing, they do small portions as well as normal sized so ideal for oap. Staff were lovely as well. Will definitely be back. Had to take pics of desserts as they were yummy 😋

This was our first time in Tanners and it was my husbands birthday. The place is emaculate, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food was hot and delicious. Would recommend this place and now we have found it, we'll be back

Traditional, roomy, hostelry with bags of character and personal service. Close to Edinburgh in one of its outlying "villages", Juniper Green. Places like this need support so get out there!

Rab howat band playing tanner's lounge bar on Friday the 7of July me Brian Tinwhistler pether and my girlfriend Pauline and Alaric my nephew injoyed the evening and the meal and the staff was very friendly and helpful and I like to recommend to everyone to come and have a great meal and a good atmosphere

For the 3rd year we came to Tanners to spend the first day of the New Year. My meal was really lovely. The haggis starter was just right and the steak pie delicious. I had cheesecake for dessert which was also lovely. The service at the bar was excellent even though it was busy.
The band played for the afternoon and they were even better than last year. Great choice of music and some good chat.

Staff are fantastic and friendly! Called ahead to see if they accepted dogs, unfortunately not in the building but the staff were very accomodating and set up a small area round back and offered some water for the dog; as well as giving some knowledge of places that do locally.
I'd highly recommend here for the friendly service alone.

An long established venue having a great atmosphere without being over the top. Excellent quality ales are served and the menu offers something for all tastes. The fish menu in particular is outstanding. Staff are professional, helpful and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble.
