My fiancé and me love a late Sunday brunch and the Elbe room is definitely our favourite place in town! Amazing food, amazing service and all freshly cooked. The staff are so accommodating and welcoming. Brilliant find! Give it a go.
Best crispy bacon roll in Edinburgh. Lovely place, cafe in the day and pub at night. Friendly couple who own and run it a very good at looking after you, expert level hospitality.

The Elbe Room is an absolute jewel. Best breakfast I have literally ever had and such a welcoming place with great music (and also I get to play there as well 😀). If you are local or visiting then give it a try. You will not be dissapointed
Cracking breakfast, loved the music, was in heaven with probably the best bacon I've tasted in a long time (so that's what it's supposed to taste like!). Came across this cafe by chance and so glad I did. Best toasted sandwich ever (sourdough, bacon (lots of it), avocado (lots of it) and tomato). Great coffee. And 60s and 70s music playing at just the right volume in the background.
