Malones Irish Bar - Edinburgh - Photo album

Early open for the 6 nations home match. Great atmosphere, nice choice of beers for a chain pub. Particularly good back ground music on this occasion. Sounds weird, but it was. We left at 11am. So may have got more lively later I'd imagine.
They have an insane amount of whiskies. Lots of seating and some good outside seats and window ones, though at the moment there's a giant construction site in the way. Good music and atmosphere though, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Great local pub.
Great drinks, service and live music.
Bartender is all smiles and great, a cold pint on a warm patio, who could ask for more.
Nice Irish pub in the heart of Edinburgh. Good beer choices. Live stage on the first floor, sounded like fun
Music is very noisy. Not somewhere for a quiet drink as there are football games/ sports played on TV here. There is a lot of seating but it's still quite busy, especially at peek drinking times. There is outdoor seating for smoker's, with a canopy so you don't get soaked which I thought was great.
live music on a Thursday, welcoming vibes, good prices, nice barmen
Probably our favourite place in Edinburgh for drinks & live music! Great bars, both down & upstairs! Definitely call in every time we're in Edinburgh!
First time visiting the pub. We had seats upstairs. Nice friendly staff, place was quiet at the beginning then it started to fill up. There was live music on the Friday night.
Great pub, anytime the football is on I go there, highly recommend it. Never been when there's live music on but I will. Usually plenty of staff and even when it's busy you don't have to wait long.
Fine bar but they play the music way louder than necessary upstairs. You’ve to shout to talk like in a nightclub at 2pm…seems odd so early.
Really nice place. Went up to their second floor to have a drink on a Saturday night and they had live music. The patrons were all singing and dancing along with the singer and band. Good times! Would recommend it for the music and vibe
Great place to watch the rugby. Live music always ensures a lively atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. The downstairs bar is cosy with authentic traditional Irish pub decor. Upstairs is much bigger and mixes the old and new in terms of decor with a big stage, lots of TV's and some fun read
