Jake's Place - Edinburgh - Photo album

Absolutely lovely staff and calm, easy going environment. Staff were very accommodating and made adjustments with the menu with ease. Absolutely lovely. Food was top notch too and lots of options on the menu to choose from. Really nice, just had a toastie but the bread was a lovely fresh ciabatta.
Only steps from the Market Street Hotel and St. Christopher's Hostel is an absolutely must visit coffee shop. Though I'm staying at the Market Street, I was not impressed with their £18 breakfast ($23) and tried Jake's Place. Just what I wanted: a wonderful currant scone and an aromatic iced latte
Close to the hotel and just stopped in for a latte and croissant. Nice cafe, very clean and very very good coffee. Nice friendly staff. Nice selection of fresh pastries and sandwiches. All produce is locally farmed coffee is roasted from cairngorm coffee roasters.
Nice strong and hot coffee with lovely service..just what you want to kick start your day!
Jake's is an excellent cafe in the heart of Edinburgh. The staff are outstanding and there is fantastic selection of croissants, cinnamon buns and quiches. Will return 100%.
Latte and quiche was wonderful! Nice little space.
Chris and Jemma are awesome, great craft beer selection, bottles, taps, casks. Best Calamari in Edinburgh. Very helpful bathroom vending machines.
Excellent hot bacon roll, no skimping on the portion, the rocky road was divine. Highly recommend
Absolutely tasty - both the coffee and the quiche de Lorraine :)
Best coffee in town. Great cakes and service. Chill atmosphere. Recommended
