Detour Espresso - Edinburgh - Photo album

I only tried their pastry but it was bomb. I bought it near their closing time but it was still buttery and tasty.. simply amazing. The lady staff was lovely and helpful! They have wide choices of interesting beverages which I’ll definitely try on my next visit
Great cozy shop for a quick bite and good coffee. Good service and nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend it.
I do love the decorations and design of this coffee shop, but I just feel the drinks and food here is average. Or it may because I ordered the tea… indeed it tasted just like the tea bag provided by my accommodation everyday…
Lovely little coffee shop just off the meadows. They serve a variety of gluten free toasties - they are made in the same machine as normal toasties but cleaning precautions are taken, so maybe not suitable for coeliacs. Great coffee too!
Coffee here is good. Breakfast pastries were acceptable.
I used to go there everyday, fav place
Lovely little cafe with nice staff. My only criticism is that the tea needed more leaves to make it strong enough to drink while it's still not and the juice was over priced.
I'm not a cyclist but that didn't matter much in this cycling-themed temple to the bean. It does feel as though the proprietor and some of the customers are definitely taking this coffee thing seriously, but as a regular latte-drinker who doesn't own any lycra I wasn't made to feel like a heathen. Great service, nice environment and very tasty food.
consistently good espresso in a nice place.
A very decent flat white coffee and delicious Danish pastry.
Walked past and stopped in for coffee, hot chocolate and pastries. Toasted banana bread was amazing and coffee was some of the best we had ever tasted. Staff were friendly. Well worth a visit and will stop by again soon.
I thoroughly enjoyed my latte it was the right consistency with the correct amount of milk and strength. I only had the one coffee but it is the sort of place where you could spend an afternoon.
Very good coffee (I had a coldbrew), and very relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed spending some time even after finishing my coffee.
Quiet when I went one sunny morning before 10am. Girl serving was friendly and made an excellent flat white, and trust me I know, having tried almost all the good coffee in Edinburgh! Also had a nice freshly-made croissant and really liked that they support cycling and embrace the Tour de France! Wi
Lovely, luminous place with delicious drinks, cakes and pastries. The staff is really nice. I went two times in my week in Edinburgh.
