I'd been in this wee cafe before and seen as I was passing through I went in again,
This time I had a bacon and haggis doubler roll with a large Latte, a bargain in this area at £6 .
I was served quickly by a nice waitress and again was not disappointed with my order.
It was sunny outside so decided to take my stuff out to the seating provided by the cafe.

I went for the bacon roll and was not disappointed. The bakes and pastries looked great. It is take away only these days but the staff friendly and enthusiastic. Very pleased for first visit. Thank you!

We went this morning to have a coffee and a croissant and it couldn't be more delicious!! Awesome breakfast for excelent price. Also he is really kind. For sure we'll repeat very soon :)

Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got. Well if you've only got 10/15 mins, you could do a lot worse than taking a break from all your cooking worries here at Empire Cafe.
I particularly recommend the amazing Bacon & Brie Burger. A tremendous lunch option which comes together very nicely with the cranberry sauce. Don't be shy, give it a try...
