Food is always delicious and the staff are really friendly. One of our favourite restaurants.
Food is awesome I recommend everyone to try this place at least once..
Hidden gem. I was so glad to find bombay spice, it is now by far and away my favourite indian restaurant in edinburgh. the tandoori and tikka starters are amazing and the lamb and spinach is delicious. try the rice with chick peas, ginger and spring onions as a real treat of a side dish. there is a well thought out vegetarian selection, the mushroom aubergine jalfrezie is delicious. wine by the glass and beer seems reasonable too.
We chose this place as it was a small walk away from our B&B stay in Leith and also recommended in Indian food. After having traveled Scotland over last 4 days and eating sandwiches, pasta and bland Indian food we were looking for some hot simple Indian meal which had some basic spices to satisfy our appetite in the cold weather. We went to this place with no expectation and it turned Out wonderful.
We ordered Chana masala and chapatis along with pickle platter and pappads.. We were pleasantly happy with the perfect spices and salt in the food. Infact it was one of the most simple and satisfying place. The ambience isn't much, Infact makes you think twice when you enter if it is the right choice. It ha bright red tissue as sofa cushions. A single asian man managed it totally. The place also is popular for take aways and delivery at B&B stays.
Not very expensive.. Serves veg and non veg Indian, Pakistani and afghani kind of food..
At the end of our holiday, I still remember the chana I had here.. So if u r looking for Indian food in leith, Edinburgh do consider this
Best Indian takeaway in Edinburgh in my opinion! I’ve had a takeaway from here twice now and each time it has been amazing! Very well priced too. My partner and I have ordered different meals each time and have loved every dish we have had. Portions are generous and the staff are very friendly and helpful
We felt very special from the moment we walked in the door. Food excellent. Friendliness genuine. party of 4 and everything was perfect and we all loved it.
Prices for for and a number of drinks was very reasonable.

Got a delivery from here quite a few times recently. Fantastic food. About average prices for an Indian take away but so good and well worth it. Definitely my new favourite.
Lovely family-run restaurant, very close to where we were staying. The staff were very friendly & welcoming, and bonus for giving us information on visiting Edinburgh!
The food was amazing, probably the best curry I've ever had. Ordered the lamb pasanda, lamb nentara, garlic naan & Punjabi rice. Lots of flavour & beautifully cooked. We had our curries medium heat, which gave the perfect amount of spice without being too hot or mild. There was plenty of choice on the menu too.
Definitely recommend visiting for a meal, you won't regret it.
Have been coming here for awhile ,a family run business, lovely people ,have some very interesting conversations here ,topics wide reaching ....anyways onto the food ...one word ... brilliant..... something for everyones tastes (well ok as long as you like Indian food ,I love it :)) ,if you don't like Indian food ....well er ...try somewhere else .everyone have a lovely day ,thankyou for reading .
Went here a couple of weeks ago with about 6 people. Very warm welcome and excellent service. classic UK curry and all food we had was tasty and plenty of food! Reasonable prices too.
The food was good and tasty. Quantity can be more for the price.
The owners are courteous. Particularly, Ms. Farzana was more friendly and ready to help.
Even though the names of the food dishes are Indian, the preparation is typically Pakistani.
Overall, a very good experience.
Honestly amazing, had a great evening with delicious food, great interaction with staff (family owned and run) if we are back we will definitely come again! Here on holiday and can’t recommend enough!
Amazing cosy family-run restaurant. Food was one of the best Indians I’ve ever had, super friendly staff that gave the best suggestions and accommodate us on a last minute booking at 9pm. I definitely recommend!
One night business trip to Leith and after not being very impressed with the local Wetherspoons and a quick look on Google Maps this place had many a good review.
On entering I thought I'd walked into a typical British Cafe setting far from the usual Indian type decor, I was greeted and shown a seat but when I asked for a Cobra or Kingfisher the bloke disappeared what seem liked ages out the back, (I can't really call them waiters because they weren't really formally dressed) but another guy appeared and got my drink and a glass and proceeded to take my order.
After a small issue with the glass which was sorted without fuss I waited patiently for my Special Chicken Balti,
For a Balti I was expecting more sauce than in the dish and personally thought it was just a milder Chicken Jalfrezi having said that it was delicious and went down well with a Garlic Nann.
