The food was amazing, we ordered the two salads and loved them. The pizzas are also good, very foamy dough. The menu options were great, creative and versatile and the dishes were well prepared. The restaurant was a bit full and we had to wait like 25-35min but it was worth it.

Lovely place. Food was very good and service was nice. I would totally recommend when visiting NMS, os even if you are around the area as the restaurant is just by the main entrance.

Recommend the tomato soup with cheese scone. It was hearty and filling. The scone was warm, fluffy, and just the perfect pair to the soup. They have plenty of food options at both restaurants on upper and lower level. Lower level was empty since it is a dark windowless space. Upper floor was very crowded but looks upon the interior courtyard or central space of the museum.

Nice venue, with good quality food, at good prices for a gallery! Came during the fringe, and the staff were swamped but didn't seem flustered. Food came at a reasonable pace and was fresh & tasty. Recommended!

Great service, we enjoyed the £5 hot drink and cake of the day deal which was brilliant value. Lovely cakes, nice relaxed environment, very enjoyable.

From the moment I was sat down at my table, I had been in the brasserie for about 45 minutes. I was given a knife to eat a slice of sponge cake with, not a fork. I had asked 2 different staff members for a fork, but that was nowhere to be seen. I didnt want to wait any longer - waited 10 minutes to be served initially, 5 minutes for my order to be brought (which was fine), 10 minutes before I could find a staff member to ask for a fork, 10 minutes til I had to ask again for a fork, 10 minutes passed again when i decided to give up. I went to the till to pay for my coffee, but not for the cake I hadn't touched. I was reluctant to even pay for the coffee, I had 3 sips and then it went cold while I waited for a fork for the cake. The brasserie was not busy - around 25% capacity when I sat down, and 60% when I left, with 5 members of waiting staff. I don't think my request was particularly complicated, and the two members of staff I had approached went on to serve other tables after I had asked them for a fork. Why couldn't they have brought one to me on their way past, on their way to the other tables? Why couldn't they even remember such a simple request? Another lady had to come out from behind the pillars to ask someone to take their order. I can't comment on the quality of the food since I didn't manage to eat anything. Please could the management instruct the staff on awareness. It's not a particularly large area to manage, but maybe if the staff could be assigned a specific area/group of tables to look after it might reduce the risk of customers being forgotten? Since it wasn't just me who was forgotten about. I hope the next time I visit it will go a bit more smoothly. P.S. Please also advise your staff that a slice of cake requires a fork, and a knife is OK for scones, croissants, and various traybakes. Thank you.

Currently waiting 25mins for soup and sandwich....slow service isn't the word. Would love to rate food...if I get it

Management seriously lacking in customer service skills. We visited today at 2.30 and waited over 15 mins for children's menus. When u asked the manager if he could just tell us what was on menu he walked away. Unbelievable!! The staff were all running around but there seemed no organisation. The girl who eventually served us was polite, however we were rushed to make the start of our tour.
Very disappointed

Yummy. So I met some friends in here who were having lunch I was just going to get a coffee as I normally do when we are out as I’m finding it difficult to eat out since being diagnosed with Coeliac. When I was informed they did Gluten free options. I was so excited I ordered a big Burger. The waitress confirmed the burger was gluten free and would be on gluten free bread. It came with chips and i enquired if these would be ok (worried about cross contamination) she went to check for me and unfortunately they weren’t suitable for me however I was offered an alternative side. The waitress seemed to really understand what I was talking about and I really trusted that she knew how serious it was. Food was FAB! I will defo be back here, a little pricey but so yummy!

I didn’t do well at the Museum Brasserie, but others round the table did much better. I really liked the place and the staff were extremely helpful, so I’d be happy to go back, but I wouldn’t order the burger again
