Aesthetically gorgeous and the food followed suit with taste and presentation! Staff were very welcoming, professional, and friendly. They have some impressive looking drinks, not on the cheap side, might I add. Decided to order the 3 small plates for lunch. Loved the way they were presented. However, I will say, £6 for a bowl of rice is a bit steep folks!
The place itself is a very short walk from the tram stop (St Andrews Square). We visited on a Sunday around 3:30 and it wasn't busy. Will definitely be back to try more!
Before visiting, I was worried it might be style over substance. But I needn't have worried- the food, cocktails and decor was amazing. The staff were lovely too. I would definitely recommend this place for a special night out. The duck pancakes were great and the hoisin sauce the nicest I've had. The beef short rib was so good- just delicious.

Overall I enjoyed my meal at Tattu, the venue itself is up there with the most beautifully decorated I have ever seen, if your looking for a real wow factor venue to take someone then this is the one.
Our server was great, friendly and professional, do your homework before you go into the menus though, we thought that the menu that turned out to be the lunch menu was available and it wasn't, meaning we were kind of pushed into a set menu which was around twice the price we would have liked to spend per person, this was more our fault though for not realising. Although there was an separate menu at the back. We were told that anything from that menu "will be brought out when they have time to make it" so the else menu was the preference.
The drinks menu was extensive and there was plenty of options with quite a few cocktails on offer, although quite pricey for what they were, most arrived with some form of flash, either dry ice or lighting within the glass. Again beautifully done.
The food we ate was great, everything we had I thoroughly enjoyed, the presentation was beautiful, and the quality great. I just wish for the price there was a little bit more of it. We both left feeling satisfied, but still ever so slightly hungry. We are fairly big eaters in fairness so maybe this was more a personal thing.
Overall I enjoyed the experience of Tattu, and would recommend it to anyone. However do your homework on prices before going otherwise you may end up a little more out of pocket than you expected. The food is great, and the venue amazing, the staff are friendly and professional and I would be happy to return.
Sunday roast with a twist!! A 40th celebration for my husband. Gorgeous food and not too bad in price. The duck in particular was utterly delectable.
I wish I lived in Edinburgh so I could visit Tattu every Sunday!

I like tattu as a whole have been 3/4 times now but the menu is pretty much the exact same as the first time we’ve been so wouldn’t rush to go back again in a hurry we both agreed. Service is always good and food is lovely.
This restaurant has a memorable ambiance and decor. Delightful tasty appetizers. The drinks were more like a great show. Unique combination of pairing of food.

We opted for the modern sharer as recommended by our waiter Sam, who we couldnt fault.
He explained the full menu to us and as a recommendation because we'd never been he said to go for one of the set menus.
One thing to look out for is the water and edamame beans offered to you at the start are at a charge to you, not just offered out of niceness (but maybe thats my naivety thinking it wouldve been🤷🏽♀️😅)
But yeah be prepared to spend a fortune and leave knowing its the best chinese/asian you'll ever have!
An absolute amazing place for a special occasion, group dinner or romantic dinner date.
The atmosphere is warm and welcome. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable of what’s on the menu. They provide you with great recommendations for their signature cocktails and attending the table regularly without being intrusive.
The menu offers a great choice of traditional and modern Chinese cuisine with prices reflecting the quality. So don’t expect a cheap meal.
Cocktails are truly an experience with a lot of effort put into the presentation.
I take my hat off to the interior designer for creating such a beautiful scenery with cherry blossom trees and Asian style lighting. The chill out lounge music is played at such level you can still have a normal conversation with everyone at your table.
Oh, the Asian Pear Sticky Toffee Pudding is an absolute must for dessert!

Our hotel had recommended Tattu for dinner, and we were not disappointed at all! As soon as you walk in, you get caught up in the lovely ambiance of the restaurant. The decor is breathtaking, and the vibe is so lively. We ordered a few plates to share (we ate the first two plates before we managed to take pics), and the food was amazing. The gyozas were by far the best I have had. Lewis (our waiter for the evening) was very helpful and explained all the items very well! He also recommended our dessert which was the perfect end to our evening.
My friend and I had dinner here last night and the food was really good! The cocktails were beautiful, the restaurant it’s self is absolutely beautiful! The cherry blossoms, the booths, atmosphere, everything!
We did the emperor set menu (£125) which I do think is a lot more than it’s worth so I personally would recommend just choosing dishes off the a la carte
The service was great! We had a lovely guy serving us, he was very friendly and he even took the service charge off for us which I thought I was really nice!

The full experience from walking through the door to the final dish being placed on the table. We we're excited by the menu and booked based on the Beef dish. However the Cod was amazing, a total taste explosion taking us by surprise.
The decor is not to be sniffed at, dark wood, cherry blossom, printed fabrics and that's just the bathroom. Beautiful details throughout.

Wow! Obsessed with you Tattu! First time visitors and it was a truly wonderful experience. The decor is out of this world, I couldn’t stop staring at all the beautiful cherry blossoms in there, it created the perfect atmosphere. We had the sharing menu and it was absolute luxury. Every course has just the right balance of textures and flavours and tasted just as mind blowing. Tattu boast a pretty enticing cocktail list and they look just as pretty as your wonderful surroundings. Definitely just right for that special occasion. Can’t wait to return!

Absolutely amazing dining experience. The staff were extremely welcoming and our waitress Sammy was fantastic. She was attentive, had great knowledge of the menu and made some excellent recommendations. We have wanted to dine here for a while now and it's safe to say that the whole experience far surpassed our expectations. Every dish was flavoursome and well balanced, would particularly recommend the belly pork and the truffle chicken dim sum. Fantastic food and wonderful service, a huge thank you to the whole team for a perfect meal.
