Mcgonagall's Gin & Whisky Emporium - Edinburgh - Photo album

We went here for gins and whisky. We enjoyed the cheese board and trivia. Great way to mix and talk with the other patrons. The cheese board was a surprising hit as there was such a variety including bread and butter pickles and onion jam. The gin flights were tasty and came with two flavours of Fev
This was a great lunch spot! I got the haggis, neeps (turnips), & tatties (potatoes). We also tried the haggis spring rolls and the shortbread cranachen. Everything was delicious! Servers were very nice too.
Great food and good service. Went there two nights in a row! Dogfriendly!!!
Had a wonderful evening here - tried heaps of gins and cocktails, including their sample board with matched tonics. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere with good live music and very fast service
We spent both of our two nights in Edinburgh here and didn’t regret it :-) great service, great drinks and great food! Would definitely recommend.
Best vegan fish&chips, please try them, they sound weird but are sooo amazing!! Very tasty cocktails as well!
Wonderful food and drinks. I took a soup of the day(garlic and tomatoes) and it was truly one of the best soup I have ever eaten. However the waitresses could have been more smiley! :)
It was the most perfect Burger i have ever had. 10/10
What great find! We were feeling a bit weary so stopped off for a quick drink. It’s a beautiful pub, the decor is spot on and espresso martini was to die for 😍 There was some live music on the Sunday we visited, we just caught the first song and he was super talented. Shame we had to leave for our
Was a really good find. Had one of their whisky flights and an Old Fashioned to drink. Good whisky selection there and knowledgeable bartender. For food, had the Scottish Egg and smoked salmon starters and both were good. Would say 4.5 rating rounded up. Would recommend trying this place.
Just stopped in here for a quick drink, didn’t have any food. Good extensive drinks menu, although a lot of the cocktails contained cream/milk. We did enjoy what we had though! Nice decor inside.
Excellent choice of drinks, beautiful surroundings, with helpful & friendly staff.
Good food. The sausage in yorkshire pud was delicious with quality sausage. Good selection of scotch and as you can see it was well served with water and ice separately.
Neil was a super friendly host. The food was great. The drinks were good too (real ale would be better than keg) All in all, we're delighted we stopped in there
Went for drinks after my daughter got married at City Chambers. Wedding. Wedding brought forward due to some life changes on my part. Your staff were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. All the whisky and Gin concoctions were very delicious Thank you ❤️❤️
Delicious Cullen skink, cool decor, and friendly service.
Gorgeous cocktail spot! Had a delicious Highland Mule - very welcome fresh take on a Moscow Mule. Fabulous friendly staff too.
Very nicely decorated, staff are friendly and helpful. The gin trays are 😘😘. We went on a Sunday night, they had a singer on.
