Wondeful food, quick service, well cooked. Nice change to the usual restaurants in the area. Would definitely go again and 100% recommend to try. Must try the yoghurt bombs!!

It's a really good Indian restaurant. The food quality and quantity is just accurate, good for two people. As for me I don't expect much in UK from any Indian restaurant but this was really tasty. Thank you to the chef there. The chai was best just as we want in cold weather after traveling for whole day. Really nice must try restaurant. In terms of ambience there is room for lot more things.
Had a long wait for my meal with no explanation. I ordered a prawn dish, which had 4 prawns in a lot of sauce, making it very expensive.
We didn't buy food but the drinks were SO good, the tiki zombie cocktail is so delicious and the so are the redbull cocktails, full of flavour.
10/10 This was our second time eating here, and we were just as happy as the first time. Delicious food, friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere. The lamb and mint burger was amazing, and the daal was exquisite. Don’t overlook this glorious gem!
Perfect place to end a long day of walking and sightseeing; prompt friendly service, great food made to perfection, served hot without a long wait. Not too spicy but with an amount of heat you'd expect with a great curry. Indoor and outdoor seating.

The Biryani was a true delight. The presentation alone was enough to make my mouth water, but the taste surpassed all expectations. Moving on to the main course, I chose the lamb Biryani and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The dish was a work of art, beautifully plated with meticulous attention to detail. Staff were super friendly, helpful and made our experience at Treacle Royal Mile brilliant! the entire experience-food, drinks, and hospitality made our first trip to Scotland even more memorable. They cater to allergies very smoothly with a detailed ingredient menu which will help you even if you are suffering from the rarest one! The vibe was great & as first-time customers, we will now be sure to return. Customer service was brilliant and the staff with their attentive and prompt responses made the whole experience 10/10.

The atmosphere with being on royal mile is set absolutely beautiful- dim lights with candles and lovely music playing in background will surely set you in a right mood.

Right next to royal mile, the location is amazing. Good portion size for main course Daal Tarka and saag paneer is amazing.
One of the best cooked Roti bread, really good. The lassi drinks are good as well, very good sizes.
