haven't been going out in edinburgh for long, but starting to become a regular here! i don't know what the negative reviews were on about, but i've always had a great time here. i've typically been coming to see friends (#gobysweep) but have discovered some absolutely amazing bands playing here (shoutout to raincheck and cowboy hunters) who i've become fans of, and would love to see play again. one band i saw here were on the last day of their uk tour, and had come back to sneaky's, as they said it was their favourite venue they'd ever played at! i can't blame em. (i'm probably biased, because the other day, 24/10/23, i experienced i think the best performance of my life here, by the wonderful jacob alon and his wonderful band, as well as hector shaw and nani supporting. simply beautiful.) staff have always been pleasant thus far, and there's even a convenient locker system to shove your coat or bag in, for i think £2.50 (if you need help with these just ask a member of staff). sneaky's is a small venue, and it does get quite packed and very warm, so my advice is to arrive on time if you can to get a good spot. toilets are minimal but clean and cool. there's not always a ton of room, so it can be polite to check with the person behind you and make sure you're not in anyones way. in my experience, after getting/showing your tickets (great pricing btw, and from what i can tell it gets split between all staff and talent) you'll get a stamp on your wrist, which means you can get in and out with ease in case you need some air. i haven't tried them yet myself, but the bar staff give out free earplugs. the decor and sound are excellent in my opinion. am looking forward to coming back!! ☆☆☆☆☆

Ignore the reviews from people turned away by great door staff...they will always be the sort of people you wouldn't want in a club dedicated to grass roots music and local, and international djs of renown. Gets busy, with some of the world's best djs making the pilgrimage to play what Mixmag described as 99th best club in the world. Bar staff are all tots amazing, as are door staff! Ignore the whining from those correctly refused entry, and immerse yourself in club culture you'll only find in a handful of clubs across Europe, and realise you're privileged to see top international djs playing in a 100 capacity sweat box. Too many great nights to list over past umpteen years. Total respect and love to all the crew, especially Konrad and Matt on the door and all the wonderful bar staff, especially Chloe and Liam

Braw live music venue. Been playing and drinking here for many many years. The sound was epic at the last gig I went to (thanks tae Gordon) and the bands and lights were class.

Went there on a Saturday night, loved it. It's a compact space, so can get a bit tight, but the extremely good dj and cheap booze makes up for it!

We saw a most amazing show last night, 29/5/22 very original the message was clear & profound using dance, poetry and symbolism. These creative people have a lot to say. Must see if you want to have a night of originality filled with talented expression in a youthful funky venue.
