Poppy is a genuine and trendy place where you can stop to have a coffee (great coffee by the way!) with a home made cake/bake or a lunch, or to take away lovely food. Kellie, her owner, opened this place in the middle of the pandemic in honour to her late and beloved Grandma, a poppy lover (hence the name and all the poppies you can see in different forms). Some of the furniture is her Grandma’s like the couch at the front. We had a lovely time in this cafe and the ambience was really cozy and homely. A good spot in Stockbridge.

Lovely friendly, homely welcoming cafe in Stockbridge. Wraps and breakfast rolls all yummy, the wee ones will love the mac and cheese and rocky road. I love the home made carrot cake. All served with a smile. Also there's always homemade veggie soups on the menu too. I'm going back soon.

Lovely, cozy little cafe with a friendly owner. Has some vegan options - I had a toasted falafel and hummus wrap and a latte with oat milk. Both were simple and wonderful. Would recommend for a relaxing lunch.

After a long cycle I found myself in Stockbridge so stopped by Poppy for the first time , I was particularly hungry so had a Mac n cheese a bacon roll a coffee and some carrot cake - lady behind counter didn’t judge me for my gluttony and provided some good banter whilst making a rather tasty coffee. Food was lovely and hit the spot- I left replenished and glad I went in as I had passed this place a few times before - will definitely be back - it’s nice to see people working hard on their own projects and I’d rather spend my hard earned money where it matters over giving it to huge chains. Well done Poppy !

The veggie wrap with chutney is nice. A good mocha. You can sit in a comfy chair. Not too expensive.

Poppy Cafe is well worth a visit: chilled, non-pretentious decor, happy staff (always a treat to see Kerry and her stand-in, Ross). The home baking is to die for: classics like caramel shortbread and carrot cake totally yuuuum! Don’t miss it!

The mac and cheese to takeaway was absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much. Lovely to see you and the flowers from spider were surreal but hilarious. Hope you got the milk in the end We will be back for more mac and cheese soon.

Popped by this week to pick up a bacon roll as they're still open for take-away with social distancing and hygiene measures. Lovely little cafe offering breakfast rolls (bacon, sausage, egg), soup and some nice looking cakes I will have to come back again to try. The lady who runs the cafe was so lovely and friendly.
